    Happy Planning exquisite it happens so fast. I set my date on this past saturday. Yesterday i heard from Chandyln and booked my restaurant and i found out the DJ and private gazebo is 500 so I probably will be booking that so we have somewhere to do the garter and first dances and stuff. Now to get my dress and bridesmaids dresses. November 25th-2011 wedding

    Hi a084596 I rwad on here before that it was 500 dollars how did you get that rate??? That's way better. Also how do you play your own music in the gazebo??? and where can you buy the mix and booze?

    After all the drama with the Travel agent I got my wedding date booked fro November 25th-2011 at 4pm. It finally feels real and I am so friggin happy LOL.

    I totally agree the travel agent I was dealing with said all that same crap too. I am waiting on aprice from Belair right now and if it's not good enought hen I will wait too. they work off commission and are a little skecthy.

    Thanks for the information acw271011. I finally spoke to Chandlyn this week-end and I set my wedding date for nov 25th-2011 at 4:00 pm. i did not have to pay the 25% yet and I have no rooms booked there yet either. So i am going to wait a bit too maybe april may when they should drop. Right now tith March break it's still considered high season even though I'm booking for november. i am just really happy I could set my date as my TA was saying i couldn't unless i was booked there she was full of crap. I think it's better sometimes to do it your self.

    I talked to Chandlyn on saturday march 5th-2011 and she told me I could use teh regular birth certficates and nothing had to been notarized.

    an you tell me where you got that quote for 1352 does that include the tax and everyone is getting 200 off that 1352 because I have been looking up prices since august of 2009 and that's not a bad price right now I wish I could wait till the summer it's so much cheaper booking then.

    I'm looking at November 24th-2011 it is the us thanksgiving hoping most americans will stay home LOL I am trying to get the Gran Bahia in Jamaica they have i think like 800 rooms. I also read in one thread the coordinator's extension number which i didn't have so gonna try that maybe tonight.

    Hi, I'm new to the forum has anyone actually found out about the long birth certifcates or them having to be notarized? l also read somehwhere about having to have your dad's name on the certificate too? Any information would be helpful Thanks

    It's Mar 04th now waiting for the coordinator to get back to me and I have a little less then 9 months till the date I want. Has any one booked their wedding that late? Or for the same year?

    Hello Everyone Waiting to hear back from the coordinator hoping to get my date booked at Gran Bahia Principe Jamaica. I hope I can get my date some of the brides seem to book over a year in advance. Wish me luck

    yah that information is great appreciate the help not sure abot the sunshine one I was not even aware they had a free one so still deciding but I have god news I heard from someone at GBP and got all the details and forms about the package so that was great. my travela agent didn't even talk about the wedding just about the group booking so really glad I got the package from the hotel

    I agree ismith the TA I think just wants more people too book so more money i figure if I'm paying for the package I am paying for a service it shouldn't matter how many people attend.

    I was hoping to get some information from other gran bahia brides. I went too book my trip and wedding and my travel agent said for me to buy the sunhine package I have to have 10 people in my group book with me. Most of my family is booking later or last minute since they don't have a lot of money. Can me and my fiance book us two and still buy the sunshine package with out having any one book with us? I left the office last night almost in tears because I don't want to make my family pay more then they have too PLEASE HELP ME I honestly thought DTW were easier and my agent seems to be not listening to me

    I am planning on getting married in Novemeber 2011 have narrowed it down to Gran Bahia principe jamaica and a few other resorts that i like but price is an issue for some of my guests any help? would be great thanks

    wow your pictures are beautiful I have been looking to get married there too, did oyu have to pay extra for the blue spray and if so how much if you don't mind? also the orchids is that the standard flowers for the sunshine package it also looked like you bridesmaids were carrying something too were they?
