    I recently did a trip to the US and they definitely have them in the cleaning supply aisle at Staples. Didn't see them in Canada though.

    It was my understanding that you have to pay the additional $1700 regardless of the rooms you book. Again, my budget isn't that big, so the extra $1700 in my pocket for having the ceremony on the beach went a long way in terms of purchasing flowers, decorations, etc. If I had my way though, I would totally spring the dollars and have it on the sky deck.

    I considered the Sky Wedding especially since I didn't really want to have "random beach dwellers" in my photos. But, at the end of the day, I have a budget to keep. Unfortunately, I found it to be a little expensive.

    I saw these place cards made of metal from Etsy, and they're reasonably priced based on some other paper ones I've seen. I thought that they would be a cool way to tell people how to get to their seats, but I didn't want to overdo it with the placecards and the seating chart. H..

    Here's a thought. Since I'm paying for my bridesmaid's dresses, and we all know that since I'm picking the style and the color there's a high probability that my bridesmaids will NEVER wear the dress again, I may consider consigning them all as a set after the wedding. Maybe I'll get some money back. Who knows. If the bridesmaids really like them, they can keep them, but I'm pretty sure they won't care if I want to consign them. What do you guys think?

    I'm of the same opinion. I too only have three bridesmaids, and since I'm asking them to pay to attend a DW, the least I could do is pay for the dresses.

    You gotta think about it, when are you ever going to wear that dress again? All of my friend's dresses are just sitting in their closets. Trash away! I know I will.

    If you're having only 32 people attend your wedding, do you think I can skip the seating chart and just put out place cards? What do you think?

    Perhaps it varies from Palace to Palace. I cancelled my reservation with Isla Mujeres Palace because of this restriction.

    Be careful. They don't let any outside vendors in case you wanted to bring your own photographer, etc.

    I was at Ardene the other day and it seemed that they had a sale on pashminas. They were around $5 each.

    Every four years! Haha. The idea is that we'll do a large trip somewhere in the world we haven't been before. That way, we have a lot of time in between trips to save up!

    They're called "Sharina". Ya, for sure a waaaay more practical purchase. Haha. I just can't justify spending ~$1000 for a pair of shoes, despite how much I love them.

    I totally wanted this pair of CL's, but unfortunately, they're kinda old and now aren't available. So, instead I went with these from nine west in the same colour (for $100!). I'm pretty stoked. They're not CL's, but they'll do.

    If you're an iphone user, check out the iWedding App. I paid $10 for it and it's totally keeping me on track from everything to the dress, rings, etc. That's the beauty of destination weddings though. Not too much to do until you actually get down there!
