Thank you! I actually changed my date to 11/4/11, the Friday before. 11/11/11 was already booked I still like the way it looks and I am hoping it's a little cheaper since it's a Friday.

Ok, so this is my favorite resort so far due to price and activities. I am planning on having my wedding on 11/4/11 and it's available for that date. I am nervous about the recent crimes in Mexico and I'm hoping this doesn't affect my guests. Does anyone if this is considered a safe area?

Hi Ladies! Congrats to all of you! I am working on reserving a date in the fall of 2011 at Moon Palace. I fell in love with this resort because it's so versatile, just like our personalities. It's also super affordable, which my fiance' definately appreciates. This may be a strange question, but does anyone know if the Moon has good waves? We like to "boogie board"

Thank you so much for all of your help and advise. I have been spending pretty much every available hour of my day researching everything and adding to my mental list of must haves. We are 98% set on Moon Palace in Cancun. The reviews and pictures on this website were a tremendous help. I am so excited to have finally made a decision! I am waiting on my TA to let me know what dates are available. I am not set on 11/11 anymore as I realize the popularity of this date and I don't want to sacrifice an evening wedding.

I have just started looking into Cancun as well. I am currently in between Cancun Palace and Sun Palace. I love the chic/modern decor. LisaRenee, I am in the same boat as you! I was set on Mexico, then I recently expanded my horizons. I too want a beautiful beach wedding with amazing scenery. And I feel like I am spinning in circles. I know I am driving my TA crazy . I will keep researching this site and paralleling it with TA, and hopefully I will find the perfect place. Have you made any decisions yet?

Hi!!!! I am still trying to figure out this website. I am getting married on 11/11/11 and I am so confused on where to have this event. My fiance' and I are in our early 30's and we are fun loving free spirits. We are planning on having 50 people attend who are all about fun. We got engaged in Mexico in June and absolutely loved the scenery. We stayed at the Barcelo in Los Cabos. It was absolutely gorgeous and we considered it for our wedding, but we felt like it was too far from civilization. Does anyone know of any resorts on the beach that is also close to shopping/nightlife. We were considering The Royal Playa Del Carmen, but we just had friends come back from their with negative feedback. Any help is appreciated.
