I went for my final dress fitting yesterday and it didn't fir ((( The seamstress said that it may be because it is that time of the month for me and she wants me to go back next week. It was a very sad day ... I wanted to bring my dress home sooooooooooooo bad.

What a tough place to be!!! Sorry ... Is it easy to modify it to something that you like? I think your sister and friend will understand if you make some modifications. Completely discarding it may break their hearts. Just my 2 cents. Good luck

Final dress fitting today

My aunt is a very expensive hair dresser in San Diego. I had her do my hair for my MOH's wedding and told her to do what she thinks will look nice and it was a DISASTER! So I think having at least an idea of the general look is safer, but I agree with not getting too hung up on the details and wanting it to look exactly like the pictures. I think the hair length and thickness plays a role too.

Great idea. I was thinking of starting to pack this week as well. So if we can't fit everything in our suitcases, I can ask the bride's maids to bring some. FI is completely preoccupied with the new house and has left me in charge of the wedding. Oh well! House is important too. Picking up my dress on Thursday. Some last minute things to do and we are ready to go, get married and have a great time. So exciting

I am going to leave negative comments on their website, but I don't think they will keep it. All the comments posed n their website are amazing and that is just not realistic! We went to the alteration place and it will cost $115!! If it turns out OK, I am fine with it.

IMPORTANT: Order the satin liner for the pants. Normal liner = NO liner. FI's suit is not a good fit We took measurements, and the pants are too big and the jacket is too wide on the shoulder. And the shirts that we ordered with the standard sizes are on the small side ... I am very disappointed, but I am hopeful that we can alter it to fit better.

My dad's suit arrived today in Maryland after 2.5 weeks of placing the order. We didn't do custom measurements for my dad, just the standard sizes, and he says that it fits perfectly I am so happy. My FI's suit and the groomsmen shirts are arriving tomorrow in California. We did custom measurements for FI, so I am a little nervous, but very excited to see him in it. YAY.

Thank you for sharing I loved his videos, but he was too expensive for us. Watching the videos make me happy !

Me too! I should be banned from all shoe stores for the next year. My FI is making fun of me. He was asking this morning: "Are you sure you have special sandals for two days before the wedding, between lunch and dinner when we walk from the pool to the beach?" LOL! DSW great for sandals, I got a bunch of sun dresses and two swim suits from Macy's. I have to jinx it, but I may be done with shopping I also did spend A LOT more than I had planned on clothes. Oh well, I will use them this summer.

We don't have ours yet. But I understand that the 100% linen has the wrinkle issue. The Studio Suits $100 suits are not 100% linen, therefore they should be just fine. Can one of the girls who has received the suits comment please?

Great to hear. Did you do custom measurements? How long did it take? I placed my order two weeks ago and they haven't shipped yet ...

Thanks. I decided to go with Vista Print. They have been great so far, so I think I will have faith in them

Has anyone used shutterfly to print photo books before? I want to print my guest book and now I am concerned about the picture quality. I have always done this on my MAC, which has been great, but now it wants me to upgrade my OS and I just don't have the time and patience for it now.

Everything is falling into place nicely for everyone My FI and I have been UV-tanning, mostly because we are scared of being badly sunburned since we will be in Los Cabos a week before the wedding. It is looking nice though! But my mom tried the mystic and it didn't look even at all. Plus she said that she had little stains on her light-color clothing, which will be a disaster on a wedding dress.Just FYI.

We are leaving for Mexico a month from today. YAY!

Me too! Only 4 more weekends available and one already goes to B-Party. Hang in there All good stuff though

I am thinking about making a photo book with pictures of everyone who is coming to the wedding and us. It will take some work but I think the guests will like writing us a note under pictures of memories they have with us
