What I'm known to do when I'm drunk :: will have to ask my FI Â lol

 Thanks for the support, ladies. I will be trying to return it tomorrow, so I guess I'll see how it goes then.  Since my wedding date was moved, it's not a big issue with time and I have plenty of it to search for another dress. I was just really excited about getting the dress and it was just a let down once I did receive it. That's a good suggestion. I'll definitely look through other Maggie Sottero dresses to see whether I'm interested in an exchange if they're not willing to do a refund.

I'm not sure. I will try to, but if not, I'm just going to sell it.

So, I ordered my reception dress a little over a month ago and I just received it today. Anyway, The dress itself is beautiful, but the color is completely wrong and far from what the picture shows. The color is this worn out bright red, when the picture clearly shows a satiny darker red (one of my theme colors). I'm going to have to look for another dinner reception dress. I wanted to change dresses after the ceremony and first dances; I'll most likely stick with white this time to prevent this. Thanks ladies for your suggestions and comments. =] Now I know I should go to Kleinfeld for sure. I'm also going to stop by Roberto Cavalli's shop when I get to NY. I've seen a few of his dresses lately and I'm quite impressed. Plus, he's Italian and his dresses portray French and Italian fashion, which would be perfect for the Rome wedding. Is anyone here wearing one of his dresses? I'm pretty sure my dress will either be a Roberto Cavalli or a Pnina Tornai, but I guess I'll see when it comes to trying them on and purchasing.

I think this convo will be repeated 'spoiler' features lol   I do agree that he is a douchebag, but I also want the brigade to get taken down a notch. They're so cocky that it gets on my nerves. Brenchal were definitely NOT my favorite HGs(super annoying) but they made it less boring, minus the overly shown make out sessions.  Personally, I think he will put up Matt and Britney. Ragan is definitely another high contender for nomination, but considering Brendan hasn't trusted Matt from the beginning and he was the HOH who sent Rachel home, I feel Matt will go up. As far as Britney goes, I think she's a definite nominee with the whole fight and smaller interactions. Ragan is on Brendan's hit list, but I'm watching BBAD right now, and so far it seems like the two are getting along better (well better than before I should say) and Ragan even congratulated Brendan. Of course, if Matt is ever put up, he'll use the DPOV(and I doubt he would put up Ragan or the Brigade, so I think Kathy would go up in this instance) and there's a high possibility that Britney will win the POV and take herself off(which I think Brendan would replace with Ragan). If both become true, neither will be nominees and it could end up being Kathy and Ragan.. There's so many possibilities and factors, it could be any of those four. lol But I do think Enzo, Lane, & Hayden appear pretty much safe this week.

Hate (definite night owl here) Â hmm...horror movies?

Has anyone else seen this movie? I saw it recently and absolutely loved it. I miss action movies like these, where they are clever, intelligent and well-thought out rather than just a bundle of random fights and explosions thrown at you through the screen(which can be good sometimes, but I prefer it when it makes sense). I watched this in IMAX and it's so worth watching. It's a 2 1/2 hour movie, but it's one you wouldn't mind sitting for over and over lol  And this next thing isn't really a spoiler because it doesn't give anything away, but there's a scene I found funny that'll hide with the 'spoiler' feature anyway.   Somewhere near the mid-end of the movie, you see Leonardo Dicaprio emerging from the ocean. For anyone who has scene 'Titanic' (which I'm sure is everyone lol), I'm sure you remember Jack died in the chilling waters and sank in its depths. Anyway, the clothes Leo wore in the Inception scene was extremely similar to what Jack wore when he died. So, you watch a slightly older version of 'Jack' coming out of the sea. Luckily, I held back my laugh, but I really wanted to yell out "JACK IS BACK" lol

I agree with a lot of the ladies on here about the garter toss being a little too sexy for a family affair, and I don't want people seeing the fabric under my dress either lol However, I do like including traditional events into the wedding (one being the garter toss), so I decided to change it up where I'm not really included in it. Our family and friends, guests, are rather humorous and are all for good fun. I talked to the Best Man(obviously my FH's best friend, so it's not some unknown random person) about this already and he's all for it. Here it goes: Instead of a garter removal and toss, FI will have to put the garter ON blindfolded. Of course, he'll think that's its me he's putting the garter on, but as soon as he's blindfolded...I'm out of the chair and the BM will take my place (pant risen up to his knee and no shoe). It's the usual trick with a twist. I know he wouldn't take anything far b/c of the family present, even if it really was me instead of BM. I just hope he doesn't really think that hairy leg is mine lol My sister wanted the BM to go a step further and actually wear a cheap, perhaps ugly, white dress during this but I said no. Besides, I think the hysterical laughter would tip off my FI LOL I'll be wearing a garter regardless, but there'll be a cheap one used for the blindfolded switch and my garter won't be seen by anyone else but my FH ;-)

 Sure...I've never used the 'spoilers' feature before, so I'll give it a go. Hopefully it works  This is a long one:   It started out with Rachel trying to apologize to Ragan & Britney on the hammock. She didn't think she ever did anything wrong and when Britney & Ragan didn't except the apology and tried talking about what she did in the house. Ragan - "You make is so hard for people to live here in the house". Rachel then stood up saying "I'm sorry for making you all so miserable in the house" and stomped into the house. She went to the Diary Room after that without saying anything else. Ragan & Britney stayed in the hammock and proceeded to talk about the interaction, making fun of Rachel and commenting that she thinks she did nothing wrong.  It seems that Brendan must've saw Rachel stomp into the DR, because he practically charged to the duo on the hammock. He started half-yelling about how they treated her. The two brushed him off, saying "this doesn't involve you; you weren't even privy to the conversation" Brendan kept saying, "It's two against one; of course I'm gonna interfere." Britney and Ragan were both laughing in his face while he stood above them. When Ragan said "You're acting like a neanderthall" Brendan interrupted with "First of all, it's pronounced 'neandertol' (with a German accent) and second..." At this point, Britney and Ragan burst out laughing so hard I couldn't hear what he said, but their laughter made him pause. Britney got up and when Brendan tried to keep talking to her. She started walking in this weird and obvious way making fun of how he walks as she walked to the pool table. Ragan and Britney all laughing, the others joining in. Enzo, Matt, and Lane were playing pool this whole time and watched this happen. Kathy was sitting on the couch and witnessed it all too. Brendan and Britney went into a full-out fight, yelling and Brendan towering over her. Brendan told Britney (talking about her fiance) "I wonder how many girls he's banging while you're gone" and called her a "three foot nothing" among other things. Britney was saying things along the side of "your family doesn't support you because they're embarrassed by you" and "you think you're so tough; I'm not afraid of you" etc. Finally, Brendan stalked inside and closed the sliding glass door. Britney opened it after him and yelled at him then closed it again. She began to cry and the other HGs try to comfort her, hugging her.  She was crying saying "how can you make fun of someone like that. who would say something like that? he sickens me. how could he say bad things like that about people?" I kind of found this really hypocritical and ironic because Britney's one of those people that makes fun of everyone as much as she can in the worst ways possible, way more than what shows on the episodes.  They all say that Brendan doing it to keep Rachel in the house. they all agree that even after this, they are still telling Rachel that they're keeping her but going to surprise evict at the live eviction. They begin talking about Brendan trying to do a voluntary leave because he's waiting outside the Diary Room. They don't know that Rachel is still inside and he's just waiting for her to come out.  After waiting for some time, he goes to the pantry and pours glasses of wine for everyone.  After all of this, Rachel finally exited the Diary Room, completely oblivious to everything that happened. Brendan called to her and told her what just took place, Rachel was upset at him for doing that.  Britney, Hayden, Ragan, Matt, & Kathy went to the HOH Room and did this talk show skit about what just happened literally 15 mins. earlier. It was a talk show made directly towards the camera and to 'America'. They all made fun of Rachel and Brendan, making nasty comments. Matt was the observer, Hayden was the host, and the last three were the stars stating the events.  After this, Rachel and Brendan polished off a whole wine bottle and two beers together. The HGs, all outside now except for Brendan and Rachel who are in their bedroom, say Rachel has alcohol problems and they dont want to deal with her going crazy like she always does when she drinks. Kathy's making fun of the two as well and announces that she's going to see when they're going to sleep because she's tired (she shares a room with them, I guess)  Brendan and Rachel are calmly talking when Kathy comes in. She immediately acts like she's on their side and gives them hugs, even though she was talking bad about them nastily just moments before.  The Showtime feeds cut off not long after this as the three hours were up. But the whole thing lasted about an hour and a half. With the season being so slow, I know they'll most likely air it on tv. The fight between Britney and Brendan, the whole interaction between Brendan/Britney/Ragan, and the talk show were the biggest parts and me writing about it doesnt do it justice.

Anyone see the Showtime After Dark feeds last night? CRAZY!...finally some form of entertainment this season lol  I'm guessing last night's events will be aired on Thursday's live eviction show for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

Probably will be around 6pm or so. We wanted the dinner reception to be right after and of course the partying after that for the night.

So, FI and I finally got around to calling about the venue we were interested in for the wedding. We found out during the phone conversation that they aren't available for exclusive use on any weekend of October 2011(our original wedding date was 10/01/11).The news was extremely bad as I was so set on having our wedding there. They did say they were available on other months next year, but I'm only interested in October. I researched best times in the year to visit Rome and although other months were preferable as well, those months are the most expensive and its crowded with additional tourists. October was a month in the off-season where it's less crowded/less expensive and the weather is still great (not too hot, not too cold...no high chances of rain). So, with the DW, I couldn't imagine having it on any other month. After heavily discussing it over with my FI, we decided to change the date to October 13, 2012 and we now have the date booked! I'm disappointed that we have to wait another year before the wedding, but I suppose looking on the bright side, I have more time for planning the wedding I want =] Thankfully we didn't buy any important personalized items with the old wedding date yet. I guess procrastination has its advantages too lol
