I can feel all y'alls pain! I have been engaged one month now and my brother is planning on proposing to his girlfriend on new years (just a few weeks away). My brother and I both live all the way across the country from the rest of our family and I haven't even had a chance to celebrate with family or friends from back home. On one hand it would be fun wedding planning with the girlfriend but on the other hand I just wish I would have a little me/us time during our engagement. Uh! It's a roller coaster of feeling - happy for them and their plans most likely won't affect ours - to why now????

I voted dress #2 but I realized that is MY dream dress, I love it! But in reality it sounds like it is dress number 1 is "the one" If you already feel that you might regret not going "over the top" then go with your heart and choose something then pick the dress that you lov and it makes you feel the bride feel that you want, GO FOR IT! Ben and Chanel - November 4th 2011

We are getting married on November 4th, 2011 at Las Caletas in Puerto Vallarta! It looks like alot of PV brides in November on here, very exciting!

Everyone's rings are so beautiful and really show their individuality. I recently got engaged, and while we did go shopping together and there was a specific ring that I thought I really wanted. He ended up not choosing that design and ended up picking out something else and I am so happy he did! I absolutely love, Love, LOVE it!!

Alas, I can officially participate! We are engaged!!!! So very very excited I have been a stalker on the forum for a while now. The boyfriend, now fiance, used to always ask "What are you doing over there on the computer???" and I would say "Nothing......" Only scouring BDW and planning our future nuptials. Muah ha ha!! J/K Actually, he has always been fully on board with us having a destination wedding. We've have been looking at Las Caletas in Puerto Vallarta because we love the exotic feeling of the venue, privacy and the fact that it has somewhat of an "all-inclusive" package. Nothing official yet. Opinions/ shout outs/ advice are welcome! So excited to learn and plan with everyone!!!
