Hey friends from the forum! I have been busy so I haven´t been able to write for some days. My wedding planning is well on its way! My WC suggested I changed the wedding to Casa Perla in Tankah Bay ( just after SOliman Bay on the road that leads to Tulum) because of much better price conditions. Besides the house has four rooms which can accomodate all of my bridesmaids! The Mayan wedding will take place at he beach and all the party of 80 will go to the pool deck for the reception. I am still deciding on the menu. I am not sure if I should order a Mexican entree, which my fiancee loves and a more "international" main course which is not "Picante" ( I have just learned it´s the mexican word for "hot an spicy") Dessert for me is very important so I want something really good, and I absolutely want an astonishing big wedding cake! A band wil be playing for three hours and a DJ will take it from there for another 5 hours. This will all be acoompanied by a free bar and animation. I am still trying to figure out the colours of my linens and flowers. Is there someting like a trendy colour? I´m very excited and happy as everything is running smoothly and most specially under my planned budget and expectations.

Yes the chocolate bride thread is great. My hair is also curly and I will be wearing it back with a natural curly hair extension! Hope you find a grat and perfect solituion.

Congratulations on your big day! I´m getting married in Cancun in May 2011. My wedding will be small although I don´t know if as small as yours. I´m getting the help of a WP becuse I find it so much easier to get someone with expertise on the matter. Hello! I´m also a newbie. So newbie that I haven´t been able to download a ticker!!! (I´m dying to get one). I´m also getting married in Cancun in May 2011 but in a private villa. I´ve been checking different options and so far I´ve decided that I definitely need a WC who will take care of catering, music, the flowers, make up, my guests transportations and so on. THANK YOU FOR YOUR QUICK REPLY. I´ve been checking the forum. I need time to get the hang of it. I´ve seen there are restaurants and lounges where you can celebrate your wedding. Any ideas? Do you know if they organise it or a WC is needed? ONE MORE THING I want one of those beautiful date icons evebody has in their threads. How can I get one?
