Ladies, a few has asked what my printer boyfriends name is. Usually I don't kiss and tell but because he is made for many I'll do it this time lol:-) I've been using the Canon Image Runner Advance for ALL of my DIY projects.

I am over here cracking up and totally have a new word to use "Blingtastic" thanks for the compliments. The bling on the topper was so the motivation to add the bling to the butterflies. Hence my Butterflies and Bling saying...

Thanks Selina ;-) FI was all excited and acting like he was feeding me cake (I smiled) so now that we have forks, I can avoid the cake smash (I know he was thinking of this big time) I will be sure to get my boyfriends name (he's the best love affair ever generally does what I want him to do and cheap as hell) but seriously I will get on tomorrow morning to advise of the specs (as much as I can find) for the Canon. I can tell you that my office lease all of our printers/copiers and the toner is included with that (therefore since they are paying a flat rate, I so felt inclined to print away.) I thought of toast glasses but because FI doesn't drink at all, along with the fact that I don't want to have a lot to haul back (besides what I plan to buy), I avoided glasses. This is something though that I may add on just to have at our home but of course if I do that, it will be well after the wedding.

Evening Ladies, Many of you know that I am winding down from quite a few DIY projects with the following left: ~ Putting our wedding program together (programs printed last week) ~ Place cards (I have a few formats that I am working with, however; I won't print these until Mid-February. Final payment for everyone is Feb 3rd) As mentioned before I have some extra paper left over so, after I accomplish the above I may try my hand at a few things that are "not essential" and will do so only if time permits. So, now that I will be focused on decor I wanted to take stock of the items that we already have, along with those that are in the works so that I will only buy what is needed. In doing so, I realized that I didn't take a picture of the first 2 wedding items that we brought prior to moving in our home. Both are from Etsy vendors. Knowing me I totally have more stuff that I put away and since I only went through one box . Thanks fellow MP brides whose last name will start with a "W" as well... I still can't get over that.... Since the C&D isn't a priority and we are reaching our budget (Thanks for the reminder Palacebride ;-) I'll put that off until the end, as this is something that we can always do upon our return as well. Did you find the silver luggage tags from Michaels?

Happy Thursday Ladies, Today, upon my arrival was a box.. well since I shop online mostly, we are always receiving boxes but this was wedding related. Here are pictures of our cake knife, server and forks which were made by a vendor on Etsy. The server is engraved with "The Wrights April 21, 2012" I may send the forks back to have them engraved one with a C and the other a D, if I find it too costly to do here or if they can't match the print.

Hmmm good question, I know that Mr. Canon was a new addition and I had to wait for a while to print on him. I don't know if it's inkjet but really for me it didn't matter since it was all "FREE" minus getting up early (but the outcome was worth it). Thanks Jamie ;-) It's a beautiful thing that you found your mom's garter while cleaning her house. Your mom, if here I could imagine giving this very same garter amongst other things to wear for your big day. Getting a new garter is not necessary at all! Thanks so much! I typically test my prints on several types of paper before making the batch. In this case, it was card stock that the job had on hand. Shhhh no one needs to know LOL

This looks like a good time however; I would schedule manis & pedis at 9 or 9:30. With a group, things tends to run behind, so the earlier on this part the better. This way if you are done earlier you can relax before your make-up. Thanks bunches... I'm cracking up at the puppy baby daddy ;-) the two that we are looking at currently names Brutus and Aengus look the most like their daddy.

Hola Ladies, Well it's dry in the land of DIY and I am having printer withdraw ;-) I do have extra paper and have thought about a few things that I could do with it, however; I need to finish assembling a few things and begin to turn my attention to decor. My last post(s) were of our Guestbook note cards (fresh of the printer) and puppies. Well, here is a glimpse of all 8 cards along with pictures of our soon to be puppy baby daddy Cassius Clay is a handsome fellow if I say so myself. I can't wait to provide you all with our chosen puppy and pictures on Sunday. The puppies celebrated their 3 week birthday yesterday so 5 more weeks before we can bring the little guy home.
