  1. Thanks for the imput Meaghan. I can't believe your flowers are clay. They are BEAUTIFUL!!! I imagined clay to be heavy.

Congratulations and welcome! I am also having my wedding at Beaches Turks & Caicos April 2011. I am so excited!! Have fun planning!
  3. Where did you order from? Are you happy with the look? I would love to see a pic
  4. I need your input... for those of you who decided not to go with real flowers, which type did you go with, silk or clay? Are the clay flowers delicate and more difficult to travel with? I have seen that several people recommended Plumerias Wedding Boutique, unfortunately, they are no longer taking custom orders. Any other suggestions
  5. TTD - When I was married (my first time) I never heard of this! What I did with my "very traditional" wedding dress was had the train of it made into a Christening gown for my daughter when she was baptized. I had it preserved, so my daughter will always have this. Now that I am on "I Do - Take 2" and getting married again, in a un-traditional caribbean way, I just may TRASH MY DRESS!!
  6. Hi Colleen - Congratulations!!! I also had a very difficult time deciding on where to have the wedding. This is my second marriage, so planning this time around is totally different. After looking at prices $$$ for a small intimate wedding here at home, we decided to just have a destination wedding. I have a daughter from my first marriage that is 11 years old and we want her to be a part of our wedding. Which made it a little more difficult in picking a location because we had to work around school, and had to stay away from "couples" resorts. That's one of the main reasons we choose Beaches Turks & Caicos - it seems to be the best of both worlds all the way around. My parents will also be coming and are going to have my daughter stay with them in their room. Let us know where you decide on having your wedding. And good luck!
  7. Hi Kathleen - Congratulations!! I am also getting married at Beaches Turks & Caicos, but not until April 2011. I am so excited. Which package are you going with ? I would love to hear about your choices.
  8. Congratulations!!! Have fun planning.
  9. Hi - I am an April, 2011 bride also. Still stressing over the exact place. I think we are almost positive on Beaches Turks & Caicos on the 14th. I didn't think it would be this difficult to just make a decision on the location!!! I just want everything to be perfect.
  10. Great pictures, Girasole - thanks for shring.
  11. Meagan - Thanks so much for your helpful info. Actually, After reading your posts on here that's when I decided to look into Beaches Turks & Caicos. Your post was extremely helpful and detailed. Right now I have a room on hold until Monday. It's the Govener's Honeymoon Luxury Suite - not sure if this level would be worth the $$$ or if I should just go down a level or two? My daughter is going to be staying another section with my parents. After seeing your pictures I contacted Tropical Images. I am definately going to use them. Any other info you could share would be great. I am still learning my way around this site. I was nervous that Beaches would be to commercial - a bride an hour - type place. From what I have been reading, I think I am wrong!
  12. Hi - I just joined this site. I live in NC and recently got engaged. We are seriously considering Beaches Turks & Caicos for our April 2011 wedding. This is a second marriage for both of us and I want my 11 year old daughter to be part of our wedding. Beaches seems like the perfect mix for all of us. I just can't decide between the many different type of rooms. Has anyone stayed in a specific room type that can share some advice?
