Hmm.. not sure why your quote is not coming up... Thanks for the suggestions. After I read your post, I wrote an email to my TA asking if the meals for photographers are included in the "package" since we are using the resort's recommended vendor. She said it's included in the price!!! No additional fee. I feel much better about it. Â Now.. I need to figure out if we want to take pictures before the ceremony in case we don't feel like we are going to have enough time to take all the pictures. We don't want our guests to wait too long... Â Sounds like I will have time to lunch before getting ready for the big day... I still haven't figure out the makeup thing yet. I really need to get on that. Â I LOVE pottery stuff. I used to go paint potteries for fun... haha!!! We are just worry about possibly breaking it. I will CRY my eyes out if I see that thing broke when we get home. but I LOVE the idea. Thanks ladies. I think we are going to do the photo guest book. More stuff to do... and I guess I am not stressed out enough to start working on things. I cannot wait till October!!!

Ladies, I have more questions... 1) Did you pay to feed your photographer(s)? How does that work? Since I am using a Mexico based photographer for 5 hrs... I am not sure what to do. I am planning to ask him but wanted to see others did first. Any suggestions? 2) How long did you guys take pictures between the ceremony and reception? An hour? two hours? How long is enough to take all the pictures you need? 3) How early should you get your hair & makeup done? My ceremony starts at 530pm... I hear it takes about an hour to do the hair. An hour before the ceremony? What's a good time?

Meredith, That's a great idea. My sister (MOH) will be in Houston for a month doing one of her residency. I need to get with her to figure out this whole guest book thing. I am super excited!!! Thanks for the info and suggestion!!!

You guys have amazing engagement pictures to make an awesome guest book. We didn't do engagement pictures. I've been actually having trouble finding good pictures of us from recent trips... Ah. It's been hard. I do LOVE the idea of the customized guest book. Thanks for the tip! Â You are right. I've been struggling with the idea but I should just do it. I need to find a song that fits all of us and have it done short and sweet Thanks for the advice!!! Â

Are you guy doing father/daughter and son/mother dance? we are thinking of not doing it all or just have it done at the same time... haven't talk to our parents to ask for their opinion... what if they say they would like to and we don't want to????

Maggie, we might just end up doing the book with photos like you suggested. going to hobby lobby or michael's today to get a book. Â

I need help... what are you guys doing for the guest book? I've been the post card, thumb print tree, book, etc... I am really torn between just not having anything to something creative and fun. initially I wanted to have a photo book...always wanted to have the actual photo booth for that's not going to happen. I got less than a month to finish up last minute stuff and I have not decided on what to do. Any suggestions? Am I over-thinking this?

I am also 10-10-10 bride at Azul Sensatori in Riviera Maya, Mexico. I am going back to my home town Philadelphia for my bachelorette party on the labor day weekend. I am sooo excited to see all my friends  So question... what are you guys doing for the guest book? do you even worry about it? i am debating on what to do with that. we have about 30 guests and just wondering if worth the hassle. what are you guys doing?  Chong

Meredith, I hope you find something special for your mom. My mom hasn't been the most excited person for me about this whole thing... (for many reasons) but I am happy to hear about your mom's support and love. We are probably just getting both our parents a framed wedding picture... Wow... I LOVE your bridesmaids dress and the groomsmen. We have a very similar dress for our bridesmaids!!! I have my groomsmen wearing white linen pants. Finally my FI found the white pants he wanted...but still looking for his shoes. I have not purchase anything for our reception decoration...I need to make an appointment for my bridal hair trial and makeup lesson from MAC...I need to finish up the OOT bag stuff... We need to start creating the music list for the ceremony and reception...oh man. where do I stop? I feel like we are almost there but I just been not to motivated to do all the last detail items. Ahhh... I can't wait till October is here so that I can stop worrying about it. Â Knacarato - Are you stressed out lately? That's a lot of weight to lose in such a short time for your size. I don't think you should try to gain weight... if you are sure this is going to be your weight by the time October comes around, you should just get the dress altered. You stressing out about the weight might make you lose more weight~

I am not in Houston on the week of August 23. I might be back by Thur or Fri. No need to change the get together date for me... but let me know when & where and I will check my calendar to see if I am around. How exciting!!!

I am so with you all... there are just too many things to do before the wedding. I cannot wait till the planning is over and start partying!!! I have my dress fitting at the end of the month. I am very excited Don't worry about 2-3 lbs... you will look beautiful!!! Thank you all for the wonderful compliments on our pre-travel brochure!!! I used the template from VISTAPRINT and added few pictures of our own. We will probably send it out at the end of August for our October wedding. Has anyone seen the "Wedding in Mexico" on TLC for Trisha from Clean House? She got married at Le Blanc Resort (same as Lindz) and it was beautiful!!! I've been struggling with what to do with my hair... and Trisha has two starfish on her hair instead of flowers. I actually have two blue starfish and didn't know what to do with it... I am now debating between the flowers and starfish... Chong

This is what my pre-travel brochures look like. There are some great examples in this forum and I was able to "steal" many of the ideas. I thought it turned out great for working on it for only a week. Now I need to find an envelop that fits this size!!!
