Hi there, I'm planning on just using a regular table, centred more in the middle of all the other guest tables and I will be having 8 at our head table if that helps you. If you go back throughout the thread I think you'll see some picutres of how it looks on someones review. I just can't remember who's.

Hi Wendy quick question...I picked the same bouquet as yours but switch out the white roses for yellow. Did you have what they considered long stemmed or short? I'm leaning more towards short but in looking at your pictures really like the length of the stem on yours, so I was just curious what you had? Thanks!
  3. Thanks for the information ladies, that helps! I just got an email from Jazmin saying that if we decided to pay with a credit card for everything, it will all be in pesos which is subject of the payment rate of the month, not the exchange rate of money. I'm assuming that evens out in the end with what the actual cost of the package is??
  4. Hi ladies, Quick question for all of you recently married....how much did you tip your wedding coordinators? Just trying to factor in our budget. Does 100 seem reasonable? Did you pay for your blood tests at the clinic? And I'm assuming that everything else was on your bill at check out? Also for those of you that had a DJ instead of using an ipod....did the money go to the wedding coordinator for her to pay him or did you pay him directly yourself? Thanks! And I'm sure that there will be more questions to come seeing October is approaching faster then I thought it would be!
  5. Hi Everyone! Just wanted to wish all the Canadian BDW Brides out there a Happy Canada Day!!!

I'm so glad to hear that everything went off without a hitch! All that sense of panic for nothing! Also glad to hear that the Gran Tortuga was opened when you went! Can't wait until you post your review! I'm busting with questions but I'll wait a bit before overwhelming ya! ) On a separate note I have to tell you how awesome Jazmin has been! I sent her an email recently and today she called me!!! Because she is going on vacation and didn't have the time to reply via email! She was amazing! The video is very cool. I'm so glad that we decided to go with DJ Bijan! Looking and yours and swongs pictures makes me wish I was getting married next week!
  10. Your not alone!! We are not doing them either! Like some of the other brides I never knew what one was until I joined this forum! We have a lot of people coming....56 and counting! So we are doing luggage tags and a pre-travel brochure which will be given to each guest prior to leaving. I am also giving them "Welcome Books" when they arrive with information about each guest, puzzles etc. Other then that they will be each getting a guest favour at the dinner and a maraca each that will be placed at thier table setting. While the whole idea of an OOT bag is nice...I agree with the other brides on here....most people do not leave home with out packing alot of that stuff on their own. Also the size of our families is what made us decide on a destination wedding in the first place. I would go broke trying to organize and pack stuff for everyone....yet alone all the important stuff I need to take for myself and FI.

They're much larger and more substantial than most out there. How long did you need to air them out befire you noticed that the smell was gone

I'm worried that they will use it on their own before the wedding dinner. What would happen? Would they not be allowed to eat with us? That would be terrible! Swankster you must be so excited! When do you leave tomorrow?? Best of luck to you everything will work out just great and just how you want it! Have a wonderful time and enjoy this special time in your life! Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back!
