I couldn't agree more..

I agree that is crazy! What package are you getting? I think in the packages with the dinner options include three hours of bar..for extra it's $15/person/hour..which does seem crazy..yes. We will be having around 50 as well and are exchanging the cocktail hour for extra dinners...the cocktail hour seems to be too much. I've heard some brides they don't even make it to theirs because of pictures..and why pay for it when there are I think three bars right in that area where your guests could get a drink. It also gives people time to take their pictures of you or themselves..or maybe run to their rooms..etc. How many hours have past brides done for their reception?? We were thinking four then head over to Desires...?? Maybe some past brides can give us some insight?? I'm guessing we will have waiters assigned to our parties asking what drinks guests want..I'm sure it will be fine!!

Are you May 9th 2011 or 2012? We aren't going to be until late January/early February 2012... Is she booking flight and resort? Did you get a good deal??

Brides whom have already booked or are in the process of booking - I need some help! We just picked DRC as our Resort...we are going to be looking at prices for late January/early February 2012...can you tell me how you did your packages? Did you put packages together..flight/resort - all in one? Did you work with a Travel Agent near your home? Did you do the packages just dealing with your WC? Did you have your guests book the resort and then have them book their flights on their own? What kind of prices are your guests booking at? We will be flying out of Michigan... As of right now we are thinking of using a TA from home..and booking flight/resort together to get a better deal..a n d...booking as a "group" at the resort to get their discounts. We would like to offer our guests a 5 and 7 day option... Please help..any information you are willing to share would be WONDERFUL!!

I'm super excited about it..I've seen it all over magazines & it's MUCH MUCH cheaper than doing flower bouquets for each bridesmaid - I actually think it looks more "destination wedding"..I love it!! Check out http://www.lunabazaar.com/ ..they are as inexpensive as $7.95/parasol! They actually have a LOT to offer if you are planning on DIY'ing any of your decorations! Also check out http://www.pamelasparasols.com/ ...they have much more to offer, and look "fancier" but for a much higher price!

Hello Brides!! We just got back from our site visit..we stayed at NOW Sapphire and visited DRC and Secrets Silversands! Without a DOUBT our choice is DRC!! This resort is amazing..Ana is our WC - and I can't say enough about her already! The property is beautiful..the rooms are amazing!! We are very excited to have finally chosen a Wedding Venue!! We will be a 2012 wedding!!

We leave on Saturday for our site visit! SO EXCITED!!! Can anybody tell me what kind of excursions you have done..my FI would like to do something with the boys when we are down there for the wedding but not sure what - not really sure he wants to do a deep sea fishin' trip..any ideas?? Thanks!! I'll let you know how it goes when we get back!!

LHD18... We aren't getting married until January of 2012..we are actually staying at NOW Sapphire this January (8th-15th) and visiting two other Resorts. I'll let you know all the details I can get - and get you some pictures. Just from reading reviews I think I'm really gonna like NOW Sapphire - they (so far) seem to be the Resort that's the most affordable for guests! I also have a client that just got married there over Thanksgiving - I'm going to call her this weekend..once I talk to her I'll let you know what she says as well!! Congrats on being booked!! We leave for our site visit on January 8th..CAN'T WAIT!! I haven't even seen the Tequila Terrace yet but from the pics it looks to be a great choice..and I believe they've done some renovating to it!! Congrats again!!

Hello! I can't say from first hand but seeing all the pictures I agree on the Tequila Terrace..that being said I'm not much of a fan of the beach. I feel like sand gets every where and I feel it can be uncomfortable for older folks... Just my thoughts! Good luck!!
