  1. The closer you get to the water the worse it is. If you are further back it's pretty clean. Here are a few photos of the beach Here we are closer to the water and to the right of my husband you can sort of see the seaweed and the tractor marks Here is just our feet, it stands out more in black and white you can see the tractor lines as well. This photo you can't see it at all Not as close to the water, it's fine another Here you can see some seaweed in the distance but up close it's fine Here is a group from out wedding down by the water, a small amount of seaweed. It was taken around 2:00pm. The trucks run every couple of hours to clean it up. Hope this helps.
  2. Due to Hurricane season all of the resorts in Mexico have a low season from September thru November.
  3. I guess it was just an assumption of mine that their busy season is June and July. I might be more Spring Break time during March and April. However, it is a very busy season for them as a lot of honeymooning couples head there during this time. Also from many reviews I have read and the pictures, the pools and overall resort was much more full than the Fall while I was there. I have also been to Aventura Spa Palace in November and it was also only at 40% capacity.
  4. I had Valeria Vera as well. She was awesome. Email takes her a while though. If you want a prompt response, call.
  5. I think what section you choose also depends on what time of the year you go. We were there in October during the low season. The resort was under 40% capacity (our first day it was at 12%) so everywhere was really empty. Moon Grand was like a ghost town. It is the nicest section but Sunrise had the most going on. However, from what I understand and other pictures I have seen, in June and July the resort is very busy and the Sunrise pool section is full. I think I would have found that annoying and would have preferred Moon Grand which, will be full but not nearly as crowded. Nizuc was very empty when we were there too. However that is what was great about MP, we had some guest like my sister and brother-in-law who have a child and it was their first vacation away from him and they wanted quiet, relaxazation time together and it was easy for them to find that by going to the Nizuc and Grand Moon section. We also had other guests who couldn't wait to party and were at the pool swim up bar at 10:00am until dinner. I know some say the resort being large can be a bad thing but I saw it as a good thing, it is very easy to get lost if you want private time and still very easy to find friends if you want to as well. We did give the Sunrise swim up bar as a general meeting point for our guests so it was easier for them to find everyone. Here is a different view on the Sunrise pools, if you walk out the back of the Sunrise lobby this is what you will see Just another view of the pools again (I have a lot of pool pictures for some reason) To the left in the Sunrise building section Swing Up bar, Sunrise section. This is in the center of the pool area of Sunrise. It is also very close the brickoven pizza place (so good). This bar has sushi from 6:00pm-10:00pm every night as well. Beer drinking contest at the Sunrise pool, mid afternoon Ok I think that is all I got with out repeating more pool pictures.

  9. Ok, here are some. 10. I have several pictures of areas of the hotel to share if someone makes a thread.
  11. There is a shuttle to the other resorts that leaves in the morning and comes back in the afternoon. It's not the most conveinent times and only runs once a day. I never used it so I don't know the times it runs.
  12. I had a great experience with my hair. I didn't have them do my makeup b/c I never like it when someone does my make up. But for my hair I brought 3 pictures, 2 of the same hair, different views and 1 of a different style that I wanted incorporated into the other style. I just explained that I wanted the front like the one picture and the sides and back like the other 2 pictures and she did it perfectly. I loved my hair. I did not request anyone special. I was in the Nizuc salon. All of my bridesmaids loved their hair as well. 2 brought in hair to add and they did well with that too. If you are that concerned, you may want to consider going somewhere in Cancun to get your hair done at a salon down in the hotel zone. It's only a $20 cab ride so it would end up being cheaper than bringing someone in. As long as you have time in the morning to head out.
