  4. This is such a great idea...may sound like a silly question but can I ask where you ladies got the 4x6 cardstock or did you buy letter size sheets and cut them down to size yourself?

  7. Thanks for sharing your review! Your pics by TI were amazing. Those clay flowers always shock me, so beautiful.
  8. Hello Fellow Island Brides... I was wondering for those of you marrying in T&C (at Beaches or any other resort) what options were you presented with for music for you ceremony? Are you using Ipod or a band? I have selected alot of classical music for my processional and the entrance of the bridal party. I know that my package comes with the option of a soloist, I'm hoping I can get a violinist. What are you ladies doing about the music you are walking down the aisle to?
  9. Soon-to-be-MrsD you could also ask Monique about Nada...thats a band that performs at Somerset weekly and is their vendor of choice. Hockeymom I think Shenique can come there to do your makeup. I will ask Meagan since I know she used her adn stayed at Beaches.

Thank you IslandBride, it was a process but I pulled through and I'd like to think at times I am stronger. Thank you for your wishes. Vikki: I am so glad Carter is on the up and up, please keep us posted and thank you for your kind words as well.
  11. The only thing that makes it worth the drama was the fact that people actually liked them. Glad I won't have to deal with the postal service again throughout this process.
  12. I love the last name idea...lol! I could see myself being one of those people who uses it after the wedding. How about wedtini? I also like azultini!
  13. My situation is similar. This is my 2nd marriage but FI's first. I have 8 aunts and uncles on my mom's side and 15 on my father's side and dozens of cousins. (our initial guest list was close to 300 because I felt obligated to invite family). I'm not close to either side so my mom told me don't feel pressured to invite them for the sake of being polite. I eventually told friends and family that we would be having a small wedding and since our family is so large I would not be able to invite everyone but hope that I would still have their well wishes. Because times are so hard they all understood and in fact most of them were just really surprised that I made the effort to inform them since they haven't seen or spoken to me in over 16 years. I did invite 2 of my Aunts (they have been the closest to me, one was my teacher in kindergarden and the other lives in the US and helped me tremendously when I first moved here). Some people may feel slighted but I think if you let them know that you would like to keep it small and intimate and though you would love their presence you can't afford it they will understand.
  14. Vikki, my prayers are with you. This is so close to my heart since 5 years ago I went through the same thing. Unfortunately the hospital I was at was not advanced in terms of neonatal care but I thank God for the minutes I was able to have a daughter. I pray that Baby Carter will pull through this. May the positive energy of every whisper of his name and every thought of him be projected around and encircle him like a shield and may he grow stronger and stronger with each passing hour.

CONGRATULATIONS on your beautiful logo, and I can join you in recommending Rebecca with 2 HUGE thumbs up!! She really was a pleasure to work with and it is great to know she can help with all the details. I am going to try DIYing them first but I know that if it all gets to be too much I can count on Rebecca. She is fast, reliable and her work is impeccable.
  16. Jannae your pics came out really beautiful and from the looks of all the smiles looks like a great time was had. Congrats and thanks for sharing.

  18. Thanks for sharing! I tried purchasing online but they didn't have enough of any of the colors I needed. Good luck ladies!
