Im going to email resort soon aswell to request a higher floor sea view room and tell them about anniversary haha.... you never know, try n gett em to do a nice table for a meal somewhere too :-) not that i want much..................... Kerry i was like you in the end... no matter what as long as me and hubby were there nothing else really mattered..... the WC sorted everything else and we were getting married in Mexico..... all along no matter what it was going to be perfect :-) Nic xx P.S. So many people from here were with me through one of the best times of my life, i think some of us are friends for life, been there through up and downs all the way, its fantastic :-) We got there on the Sunday and were married the following Friday, and yes they are strict with the 3 day rule thing.... they dont include weekends in this, the wed would prob be the day for you to do it :-) xx OMG i am soooo thick.... 25 days, i do not know what date or month i thought i was in but its actually, 49 days til we flew and 54 days til our anniversary.... We really really wanted to go back to Mexico for our anniversary but cant afford it this year :-( but we are going to Cuba so that will be really nice, im going to take wedding cert etc to see if we can get any freebies!!! LOL xxx However we are going to Mexico next year... saved and saving hard... so prob April/May time again :-) xx

Hey there. Good Luck with your planning, I miss it soooo much... although im sooo happy to be a wife to my gorgeous hubby :-) We had cocktail hour after photos then diner :-) We never had many people with us (7 inc us) so we just went with the flow, as we didnt have to plan for people.... how many guests you got going? This time last year we were 20 days away from flying and 25 days away from being married!!!! Where does time go??? xx We hopefully going back to Mexico next year April/May time... not sure what resort but hopefully nr RPRM so we can sneak in for a peek :-) Were Off to Cuba for our Anniversary this year xx

Hi Ladies, I got married at the RPRM on 6th May 2011. What can i say it was fantastic. We used the onsite photog from Calypso based in another RIU resort just down the road. They were Fantastic.. really really brilliant guysto work with x Im Nicola Creely on FB so if you request me i will add so you can see some of the pix i put up & there is a vid on there too, & some pix from a family member. We originally wanted a beach wedding but we didnt get allocated the time we wanted and were given 1pm (instead of 4pm) last minute we changed our minds and moved to the gazebo as the heat was just too hot for me to get married on the beach in my dress and having my hair and make up done. I needed a wee bit of shade so i didnt melt. BUT we saw some of the most gorgeous weddings on the beach :-) Good Luck to the RPRM brides to be, You really have not gone wrong in any sense with this resort :-) You will have the best day ever. I would do it all again in a heart beat!! :-) SOOOO Jealous, hehe xx Nic xx Any questions just ask and hopefully i can answer them for you, I still have emails from the resort to give you an idea of prices and of things you can choose from like flowers, music etc and i would be more than happy to forward these on x

OMG i havent been on here in AGES!!! SOOOOOO much to catch up on. I have been married nearly 4 months.... And i though time went fast leading up to our wedding.... OMG 4 months..... Loving married life Soooo much, Still love people asking me for my name, and love looking at my name on letters that come through the post!! HAHA... im such a geek!!! Got a cheque in the post from the tax office the other day... it has my Maiden name on and it as i forgot to change it with them, it looked too wierd!! I have changed it with them now but to see Nicola Bates instead of Nicola Creely was just soooo strange. I am definalty used to my signature now as i sign it a thousand times a day in the bank where i work.... but i just never get fed uo of seeing it or writing it.... there we go again the geekiness coming out in me!!! LOL x Im so loving reading all the wedding planning of the brides on here.... i need to come on more often.... i wish i was planning still :-) We have booked next years hol to Cuba and we will be there on our 1st Anniversary!! ANNIVERSARY... omg thats what we'll be planning from now on!!! haha!!! Going to go back and read what you UK brides are up to now Lots of love xx

Kerry. We were told that we had to wait 6 months for our certificate after we leave Mexico. But i enquired about getting our wedding cert apostiled with our WC and she said this was fine. When we got to the resort at our wedding meeting i asked about this again and she said yes it was all in order but because we have given plently of notice for this they had already arranged it with the official office over there and as long as we were in the country 4-5 days after the wedding it would be ready in time for us to bring home, we got married on the friday and Nancy our WC had it delivered to our room on the Monday :-) So we had ours from day 1 x Worth enquiring, as it may differ from resort to resort and hotel to hotel :-) Also we have looked into getting our cert translated... We are not going to bother as there is no legal requirement to have this done. Whether its in English or Spanish the wedding legal so we are just leaving it and have used the original Spanish one in all forms of name change etc.... x
