Hi Amberrayne, Yeah at first I did. She didn't respond to my first e-mail till a week and a half later. I am still waiting for response from the second one. I am not sure if its normal or she is overwhelmed with wedding inquiries? if there is something in particular post it maybe one of the other ladies might have an answer or can forward you some information.

Welcome... Well what helped me was developing a spreadsheet on excel. to compare and contrast what each resort offered and the wedding packages.. we decided on Sandos Playacar Beach Resort. Its kid friendly and economical. I am not too sure about golf. but if you don't mind spending 1000 for a 3night check moon palace its a beautiful resort and it has golf. it was on our top 5 but for the price on guest we had to let it go. Do lots of research before you make your final choice. Happy Planing...

Hi Ladies, Since you all have been so helpful. I figured I should return the favor. Here is some info I got from Paola. 1. In the Symbolic Packages where it says "Sparkling wine for wedding toast", Is that only for the bride and groom? or is it for everyone else (our guest as well)? If not how much extra would it be to have a toast for everyone? Answer:The sparkling bottles for the toast at the end of the ceremony are for 30 people, as well as for the cake. The upgrade is $3 usd per every extra person 2. Do you have a menu for hord'oeuvre and cocktail hour? Please find it attached (open bar document) I put at the bottom of the post 3. Is there a bar area near where the wedding takes place? Around 3 minutes walking; but is not too close. 4. How much would it be for Cake if you have more than 30 people? The upgrade for the cake is $3 usd per every extra person. 5.How many rooms do you have to book to get a free wedding reception? This promotion only applies for the wedding packages. The private reception has an extra charge. 6. Do you have a menu of the restaurants on site? Could you tell me how many people are you estimating? So I can give you the options available for your group? How soon do we have to come to Mexico to meet the requirement for a symbolic wedding? At least two days prior the ceremony. 17. How much extra would it be for steaming service for the dress? Between 30 to 60 usd depending on the complicity of the dress. 18.Do you have any tour offers? If so to where and what are they? Regarding the excursions I will ask you to please contact your travel agent, they will offer you all the tours that you would like. The only packages you can get for free are the Sandos Symbolic or Caribbean Symbolic depending on the amount of rooms that you will have. If you have 32 rooms for 7 nights, then you can get the Caribbean Symbolic Package for free and cover the difference of price to upgrde to the Riviera Package. Welcome to the forum. I know whats helping me decide is to sit down a make a list as to what's my top five major things, ie. (kid friendly resort, adult only, sister resort close by, good price for guests, tours included) stuff like that, and sticking to our budget. Happy planing you'll find a lot of info on here.

The actual wedding ceremony is about 30 min. but they consider it an hour with all the guest, wedding party, and bride entrances.

Hi everyone, I wish I had more information to add on here but unfortunately I don't. Its appears to very hard to find others who have had a wedding here. I have stayed at the Decameron before but, never witnessed a wedding taking place. I would like to consider having my own wedding there but like some else said on here, I can't get pasted those horrible lawn chairs. I keep sending e-mails asking if they have changed them yet but no luck. I am even beginning to ask around if there is a chair renting service because they are so terrible.

Hi there, you probably won't find to many reviews because the Breeze chain is new to Panama.. I have many family members who still live in the area and were excited about the new chain.. which competes with Playa Blanca Resort and Royal Decameron. Hope others can help. Good luck.

Hi everyone! We just confirmed our wedding at MP December 18, 2010. Yippy.. Although both are families aren't too thrilled. They say it's too expensive. I told them to look at it as a vacation. But we'll just have to see....
