But unfortunately for my guest the price is too pricey for the 3 nights. We are planning to get married December 18, 2010 there. They quoted me rates of like 1000 per person with air included. And since its a bit early I am waiting to see if they drop down a bit. But if they give you a better rate or you can afford this. It will be a beautiful wedding. They are all about accommodating and they are definitely on the ball. Happy Planning...

Hi Heather! Mexico is nice and I am sure where you pick will be just awesome. Making an excel spreadsheet of the resorts and what there wedding packages had to offer helped me out a lot.

Hi Lauren, Congrats your engagement!!! Yeah girl there is a lot of useful information on the different forums. It dosen't matter where someone is having their wedding, they have something useful to contribute. One thing that truly helped me and my finace decide on a resor was an Excel spreadsheet. It made things a lot clear as to what each resort was offering and our price out of pocet and what our guests would have to pay.. Anyway, Happy Planning. The time will definately fly by.

Hi Natasha, Yeah, We chosed to do DW because it appears to be cheaper for us than to have a wedding at home. I am not sure what your budget might be but look into Sandos Playacar Beach Resort. We are definately considering that resort (budget friendly for our guest) than some of the other ones.. But do your research and find the one that is right to celebrate your special day. Well go with your heart. This is a very special occation and I read another post on here where her bride was definiately disapointed in her photo choice and wished she had gone with the first one. I am currently doing research on photographers right now so I don't have too much input. But if you can scrap up some extra cash to get the one who will portray your special moments in time the best then try (ask you all's family to contribute)..
