I am wondering if it is okay to have showers for my second marriage? I have had two different sets of friends that want to give me a shower and want to make sure this is ok. How many of you have had or been to a shower for a brides second marriage?

Hey Ladies, I have seen many lists on which pictures to take and I have combined many to get my desired pictures but I feel as though I am missing something. Which pictures do you wish that you had taken but didn't get around to it. One I was thinking that I would like to have that are not on my lists is my groom with my 2 sons (his best man and ring bearer) with their coats over their shoulder. Come on ladies, let's see how creative we are.

I ordered mine from inweddingdress.com and I have to say that it looks like the photo on their website (with the exception of the 100# model being in the dress and I'm not that) They as well as light in the box do custom dresses. Most of these companies offer their dresses for $100-300 so they are not going to be perfect. If you are that type of person that expects perfection, then I do not suggest going with them. The ONLY problem that I had is my dress is a corset back and I have to tighten the strings all the way for the dress to fit and I think it is still a little big. No problem for me because I knew I would have to have some alterations done. PM me your email address if you would like to see photos of my dress.

Great Pics, I don't think that I would be able to keep the book from my FI if I had it either. I am having a hard enough time keeping from him that I am going to do it. I see pictures and I want to show him... look, this is what I want to do. LOL

I am faced with this same situation except I had my dress made and I still need to loose 20lbs but mine is alread almost as tight as it will go. I'll be on the hunt for someone to fix it after Thanksgiving.

Ladies, I knew I should have come here first. My FI and I went look at tuxes this weekend and we (he) decided what we wanted. Problem is we are buying ours as my son is a senior this year and will need to wear his over and over again. This beats rental fees! I told my FI I could find them online much cheaper and y'all have helped with that. I searched all day yesterday online and came up empty. Thanks Again!
