Thanks gals, So I should email my TA and ask for a reservation number for our group? And yeah, she wants our full names. Also, for popping ears, ask your flight attendant for "hot cups" I think their called, on my last flight to the DR they were giving them out to people with ear issues Its just styrofoam cups with hot wet paper towels I think, and its suppose to make the pressure better for your ears?? Not sure if they work, but all my clients talk about them as well

Whoa! You ladies have been busy on this thread since I've been on! This site hasn't been working for me! Its fustrating! Every time I try to post it takes to long and times out!! urghh! So I emailed Carolina ad asked her to email me right away to ask if we needed our birth cert legalized and asked her to email right away so I could send me papers away, that was over a week ago, so I sent them anyways and still haven't heard from her! As for the decor, I'm not going to do anything for the dinner tables I don't think, we're having a huge reception a week later with the full meal deal, real flowers, just like we left the church, so I don't think I'll need any extras the day of....Which I'm almost positive I'm going to regret!! lol So I very well could change my mind by the time I get there!! lol I'm def going to upgrade my bouquet, and my girls aren't carrying flowers, their going to have parasols instead, and I'm getting everyone who needs boutniers (don't mind the sp!) at Michael's...they make them for like $10 bucks, so since there fake they will be able to keep them for the reception ok I've said way to much, I won't be mad if ya didn't read all that!! hahah

Aww Jennifer, You will be fine! I know how much it sucks, My FI was away for 13 months altogether...That was hard But it makes life sooooo much better when they get home <3 Good luck, Were all here for you!! Keep smilin' lady

Thanks Tracy, I'm just going to send the docs to the DR Consulate in Toronto, It comes to six something Canadian. Its alot, but at lease I will know its done right. We are going to the Notary Public on Tuesday to get everything signed, which is another $120 plus tax. Ugghhhh....I don't like spending money when I don't get to see where it goes!! lol Carolina sent me an email a long time ago with flowers in it, I can try to upload them or email them to you if ya want??

OMG!!! I'm really starting to freak out, I really don't know where to send my documents because I called WEDO and there telling me to send them to Texas.....I don't want to send them to texas! Thats bull!! Urghhhhhhhhh....................Carolina still isn't emailing me back, I need to know a estimate time of the ceremony, my boss is staying at the dreams and is coming over to do hair and for the wedding!! But she won't tell me, How is god's name am I going to get ahold of her down there? I want to cry, I think I just might. I need to get my docs done right now, like yesterday now and I'm freaking out hard core........I want to go on vacation from my wedding plans

Wal marts bathing suits are pretty good for small peeps like us. I'm a bathing suit junky and I get all the little cheap ones from wal mart, I'm a size 2 and I buy the small in the bathing suits Now go and get some!!! lol

I've been using that email address and all my emails keep coming back with a failed to deliver message, so I used one from the website, I didn't get a failure message but I didn't get a response from Carolina ethier. Its so annoying

Tracy, We all leave on the 11th, but we booked back in June, however there were 2 couples that just booked within the last month and my TA had to go through a different tour operator to get rooms because sunwing had none left in there block, so it ended up costing them $300 more per person. Isabelle, I know how you feel, Mike almost had to leave to go to Haiti, but the wedding saved him and kept him here!! I think he was a little dissapointed as he loves his job but happy at the same time that he doesn't miss an amazing wedding/vacation!! lol

Well, the whole weight loss thing, was my FI, last year he lost 75 lbs when he went to basic training, so now all his friends feel like they should lose weight too. hahah I'm telling them, were going for clothes like...NOW!!!!! ughhhhh.....Men! .....again! lol

Hey girls, What are you guys saying to get the guys motivated about getting their clothes together?? grrrr....Im gettting angry, all our guys are on huge diets and are more like women then I've ever seen......And its annoying because they've never been like this before!! Ohhh Danielle, that sucks!!!! We had guest book with our group later then the orignal date and they ending up paying $300 more per person. I was in the same boat as cherrybomb, we are booked through sunwing and they ran out of rooms, so they had to buy more rooms from other tour operators, thats why it costs more, because it actually costs them more. So stupid, as far as I'm concerned the price for group booking like weddings should all be the same as we make them ALOT of money!!!!!!!

I have decided not to do oot bags now, just cause its going to get pretty expensive with almost 15 couples booked. So I think I'm just going to do a couple diy projects to give to them but nothing fancy, not only money, but time, I seriously have no time. I really don't know where the time is going, it will be time to leave before we know it!!!!!! yyyaaaaa whoooooo!!!!!!!!!!
