  1. I actually just sent out my Save The Dates and put our website on the cards. Then on our website, we have a tab that says, "What to wear to wedding," and it explains that barefeet are welcome, etc......and to please wear shades of champaigne, white, or beige (but please leave the white dress for the bride) ;-) I had to tell them now because most people want to do their shopping ahead of time for Jamaica....i.e., they won't be able to buy bathing suits or clothes in these colors in November! I just think it's nice to give a heads up....while being nice but straight forward.
  2. Okay I saw a picture and an article about a bride who requested that all her guest wear champagne, beige, tan, or white. At first I thought it was tacky but it actually made her pics look amazing! I want to do the same thing...what do you guys think?
  3. Jamaicabride09- I will be in Ocho Rios the same week! We are getting married at Dunn's River on the 14th! IslandBride317- How did u get to pick where u r getting married already? I thought we had to wait until we get there?
  4. So we are booked..I sent out save the dates today...I ordered my dress yesterday....my wedding is in 6 months!!! So much to do, so little time!
  5. Amber Dunn's River Villaggio Golf and Spa Resort Nov 14, 2009!! Is anyone else planning to get married here??
  6. Hi there! My name is Amber! We plan on getting married in Nov. and we are considering getting married at a Sandals resort with close friends and family. We like the Sandals Dunn's river b/c it looks fun for family/friends, then we are thinking about going to Negril by ourselves for 4 days for a honeymoon. We have already met with a travel agent and have everything pretty much organized....I just wanted to see if I can get input/advice from anyone here who has possibly been there or done this? We originally planned on getting married at a winery in Temecula but realized we don't want to spend $18,000 when we can spend MUCH LESS and get 5 days out of it rather then 5 hours!
