  4. A wedding I went to in June in MA served a brownie with ice cream - no cake at all, no photos. They also had a cookie station with a variety of cookies that the bridesmaids made. I think the no cake thing is fine! A friend of mine also went to a wedding where it was only different types/ flavors of pies.
  5. I think the $50 on materials is good! While you can't resell the candy (heck i'd probably just whittle down the leftovers myself), I think the apothecary jars would resell here immediately!
  6. After a few more last minute invitees, our STD's are done - we used templates on here (thank you ladies!), and the final products are attached. The Zazzle stamp with our names in sand (Zazzle | Custom T-Shirts, Personalized Gifts, Posters, Art, and more) was such a hit! We used blue 65 lb paper for the ticket jacket Office Products - Office Supplies, Furniture, Technology & Electronics | Staples® Cream 65 lb paper for the boarding passes in the 24 lb Linen envelope from Southworth, also from Staples. My FI cut out the little pieces of each, and we used the fiskars round edger that I bought at Michael's. I did the printing very surrepticiously at work... I hope it's helpful to other BDW'ers, and more than anything, a big thank you to those on here who also posted their STDs to get inspiration!! This was an early attempt in DIY, and i'm impressed since I am definitely not the type! STD_Holder_FINAL.ppt STD_Publisher_final_(2).pub
  7. I think that the address is whomever is paying for the wedding (i.e. if the bride's parents are covering the whole thing), it goes to their address. My parents are paying the majority, but I want to get the rsvps!
  8. I used the Aylee bits template too, it's great! Searching will give you some good ideas of layouts and colors too.
  9. No, but this was REALLY helpful! Thank you both. One case was a really old post (from '06, where I did a search), so i'm not surprised the photos were probably removed. It's work - I just logged myself out of work and on to my own network, and I can see it now. It's probably a sign that I should be working...
  10. Sometimes I can see photos on the forum...and then sometimes I can't. Is it that I don't have enough points to see photos (I'm not talking about dl'ing attachments, that I can do thus far)?? Or, is that there's something that won't let me view photos because I am at work? At my company, myspace, facebook, etc. are all blocked.
