  1. These are fantastic! I love the idea of DIY! I see many brides are doing the same...where do you get the material and templates from?
  2. I'm getting married at the Dreams Tulum resort. They offer a "mexican trio" but I 'm not sure what kind of "trio" are they. I heard they play romantic mexican songs but I am looking for more classical pieces to be played during the ceremony and cocktail hour. I know they do have a violinist but I would like to have at least 3 string instruments. I am trying to find an outside vendor who can do this for me!
  3. Help please! I am trying to figure out what is the best way to book for the all inclusive week for the wedding. Should I book with the Hotel? Travel agent or online? I'm not sure which one would be less expensive. I am assuming that with the resort itself, they only charge you accomadations and not airfare and airfare is $$$ from Montreal. Online I can find some great deals but in order to benefit you must wait almost last minute. Which I don't want to do. Some of my guests said they don't mind booking closer to the date but I am worried they won't have availability. That is why I am thinking travel agency. Do they usually do group rates? And if so, do the guest organize their expenses directly with the agent or through me..... The stress of this is actually keeping my from putting the deposit on the wedding week at Dreams Tulum!!! I also wanted to know on average how much did Dreams Tulum cost for a week all inclusive? Thanks!!!!
  4. Hey all!!! I a presently looking to have a string quartet or trio play during the wedding. Does anyone know where I can find them? Has anyone had a trio/quartet at their wedding? I'm looking for violin, viola, cello and flute combo..... Any name would be appreciated!!! Thanks!
  5. Hi all! I was reading some posts and I'm wondering if I should have a local wedding coordinator to assist with the wedding planning or should I just stick with the one from the resort? I'm planning my wedding a Dreams Tulum and I'm very worried that I will have difficulty reaching the WC. From what I have read on the loooonnngg Dreams Tulum Review thread it seems to happen to most brides. I tend to be picky and will probably be wanting to get in contact with the WC a lot! Does anyone have any recommendations? I am looking for something similar to "Dazzling Details" apparently they are local coordinators for Puerto Vallarta weddings.... Thanks!!!!!!
  6. Thanks for all you info! I will definately look into the ones you have all mentioned! I'm having a very small wedding actually, I'm only expecting to have 25 guests!
  7. Hi all! I am currently looking for a photographer for my Dreams Tulum wedding on June 3rd 2010. I am trying to figure out whether it is less expensive to book one from Mexico or to bring one from home...any ideas? Can anyone give me their opinion? I can honestly say I didn't think a photographer would cost so much lol! Some packages they offer vary so much from one to another, I found one who was charging close to $5000 and didn't even include any print outs!! Only online or DVD! Thanks!
