  1. What a great review! I'm getting married at the Sheraton in April:)
  2. Congrats and welcome to the forum. My WC is Karla too!
  3. I definitely picked Cabo because I like the dry, hot climate over the humid ones you would experience in cancun or pv.
  4. I think an Ai is probably the way to go for that price. I think I'm going with the Sheraton and the banquet is $75 per person and international open bar is anywhere from $69-88 per person per hour. Hope that helps!
  5. I hope everything works out for you. I was a Mexico bride but am thinking of switching to punta cana and having everything at the Jellyfish. They emailed me back 24 hours later too. I think it might be the spot Good luck with everything.
  6. Your wedding will be great. I'm thinking of switching from Cabo to Punta Cana. I hope you have a beautiful day!
  7. I'm also a 2010 bride and am feeling a little nervous with the swine flu. I think everything will be ok but it's always good to have plan B.....?
  8. I'm an April 2010 bride and am deciding between either Hilton or Sheraton in Cabo. Both have great room rates for my guests and they are really nice hotels. I'm working with Tammy and a wedding planner Karla Casillas. The only thing that's holding me back right now is this stupid swine flu...I know it's a year away but I have a feeling everyone will freak out about it when I send the save the date cards....not sure what to do.
  9. Thank you so much for that review. I'm still debating between Sheraton, Dreams and Hilton so your insight is incredibly valuable. I just want to be done with picking a location already

  12. Do you know what the location fee was?
  13. Does anyone have a good travel agent? I'm working with someone from destinationweddings.com and I think the prices are too high. Thanks!

I am not sure which wedding packages you're referring to, I didn't think they had any. Could you post the link for where you found packages? Thanks! Here you go: Casa del Mar You can also price things out on their banquet menu if you are doing a buffet and they have their open bar prices on their too! Very helpful.
  15. I'm also thinking of having Karla as my WC. I've talked to her on the phone already and she seemed very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. I would give her a call . She's very responsive so far!
  16. I am seriously looking at Casa del Mar. There website was great because it priced alot of things out for me. Are you doing one of the wedding packages or going a la carte? I've never been there but my fiance and his parents used to vacation there when he was younger and loved it. I'm sure your wedding will be beautiful!
