It's not as much of a "party" resort, like say Sandals MoBay, but we really like the laid back atmosphere. There is a french restaurant there we really enjoy, plus a great Thai restaurant on the private island. If you have more specific questions about that resort, I would be happy to help! Britni Britni, I'm so glad to hear from someone who has been to Royal Caribbean!! We are getting married there next month and I have been anxious about the wedding locations at this particular resort. If you know the wedding locations at Royal, what do you suggest? Any input or help would be apprecitated! We are getting super excited so anything you have to share would be helpful. Thanks so much!! Ronda
  2. Thank you so much!! This is exactly what I have been looking for. This will help so much!!
  3. Sorry, my computer was having trouble last night and I didn't think it posted. Sorry to post the same question.
  4. I was just wondering how you ladies are planning to get/got your dress to your location. I am planning to carry it on the plane with the hopes that they will have somewhere to hang it up. I guess if all else fails, I could lay it across the overhead compartment. I just hope it fits ok, because it is a slim A line dress. Thanks for any input.

  6. We are getting married at Sandals Royal Caribbean in June. I would also like to hear from others about the resort. There doesn't seem to be as much information on here about this resort as the others. Reviews that I have read on trip advisor have been pretty good and it seems to be a smaller resort which is what we liked.
  7. I like the idea of a departure gift rather than an OOT bag because I don't want to travel with all that stuff. I was also thinking about putting a travel book for Jamaica in the gift bags. This way the guests could get an idea of small details about currency exchange and transportation. I think I will also do a departure gift instead. How are you planning to give the gifts to the guest? Mailing them?
  8. Has anyone been to a wedding at Sandals Royal Caribbean or gotten married there? We are getting married there June 17th and I am starting to get nervous because there is no information about anyone getting married at that resort. I know it is not as popular as SGOR but, we didn't want to travel 2 hours once we got to Jamaica. Anyone have any information to share, I would really appreciate it!! Thanks
