When should I send them and do we include our travel info with them and also include an RSVP card?? The timing and what exactly to include is confusing me!!! HELP! Since your wedding is April of 2010 you should have your invites, rsvp cards and travel info. sent by December of 2009. Have the requested rsvp date be for February or March. Here is some example rsvp wording: Please respond by the tenth of February M _____________________ __ We'd be delighted! __ We regret to decline. Use as many inserts or enclosure cards as needed to include travel information, or you can just state on your invitation to go to your Web site for more information. (I see that all the time). I hope this helps. Let me know if you have more questions.
  3. According to traditional invitation etiquette, you should print directly on the envelope. But I've seen it done both ways a hundred times.
  4. If you have anxieties about your guests not having enough time to book, go ahead and send them out. It's always better to send them out early if it helps relieve stress. You've got enough going on, you shouldn't have to worry about this.
  5. As a professional in the invitation industry I can tell you I've seen it a hundred different ways. However, I do suggest sending out your STDs as soon as you are firm on the date and location of your wedding. If you still want to send them out now and don't know the location simply state on your STDs that "invitations and traveling information will follow." That way they know they'll be traveling and they know to leave those days available. Traditionally, rsvp information is sent with the invitation. If guests are traveling, you'll want to send all the invitations with the travel and rsvp info. about three to four months in advance. That's plenty of time for people to book and rsvp. If you're worried about numbers then you can ask for a "soft commitment" on your Web site to get a pretty good idea.
  6. Oh cool. That's a great link to keep in my portfolio. :-)
  7. Las Vegas is a great place to get married. You can get a ton of ideas and info. from the Las Vegas forum. :-)
  8. I loooove Cilis and they are flexible with anything you want to add to make it unique, ie. a string quartet, etc.
