Does anyone have any of their pricing ? Also do the resorts let you bring in your own flowers? I'd like to have my own bouquet done since the resort charges so much. Also, I like the idea of picking it out prior to the day before the ceremony.

I think the previous poster is correct...you can have your own officiant but you also have to have a Jamaican officiant as well for it to be official. Good luck!

Where did you get the little frames to put on ? I guess I'm most worried about how to put it together? Do you just hot glue the stems? And then use the ribbon? Did you put the extra length from the stems in the bottom before you wrapped with ribbon? I really don't want to mess up flowers with the price they are. Thanks!

Hi Crystal...congrats and welcome! I've found this forum very helpful. What we did first was pick a destination. We were between Mexico and Jamaica and picked Jamaica because there are fewer requirements to getting married there. Then we settled on the brand of resort we wanted based on the activities we wanted to have available. We picked Couples Sans Souci in Ocho Rios. Of course I had my dress before we had all this decided! I then spent some time deciding on a photographer, and decided to fly one down rather than using the resort photographer...it actually fit better into the budget that way. Good luck with the planning...we are all happy to offer our advice.

Congrats and welcome! We are just having a small wedding..just about 4-6 guests. We decided on Couples Sans Souci in Ocho Rios Jamaica, because of all the activities the resort offers, plus all of the things that are included in the complimentary wedding. Plus Dunn's River Falls is in Ocho Rios, and we really wanted to go there and the trip is included when you stay at Couples. All in all I think we made the perfect choice and found the best resort at an affordable price. Good luck with your planning!

I finally have all the details in place! We are leaving on 10/7 for 9 nights at CSS. Wedding will be on 10/9. I got the deposit to the photographer today. I have decided to use Misti...Expressions By Misti - Professional Photography - Nashville, TN as her work is gorgeous, we will have her down there for 3 days and we won't have to pay the surcharge since she is our wedding guest staying at the resort. I'm so excited...maybe now my stress level will decrease...lol. I just have to find a TTD dress...the one I got is probably not going to fit...oh well.

I agree...you only get one wedding dress so it is important to have one you absolutly love! When you look at pictures you are not going to remember going over your budget, just that you had an awesome dress that looked great that you loved!
