Hi Ladies, I am a little frustrated with Service Canada. Every other place has accepted my marriage certificate in Spanish. (I got married in May, we went to Cuba) I don't even know where to begin to make this happen. They will not, under no circumstances change my name unless it is in English or French Did this happen to anyone else on this forum? Please help.... Thanks!!!!

Hey Corobeus! I also got married at Playa Pesquero on May 19/10. We LOVED, this resort. Have you heard back form Yaly? She is amazing. She made our day magical! We also got married at 4pm. We were suppose to have a beach ceremony and the beach BBQ reception but as I was getting my hair done at 2pm is started raining. So we had to change locations. We ended up getting married in the Gazebo (which was perfect) and had to have our reception in the banquet room. I was so upset with the weather but when I walked in that room, it was breath taking!!! (the air conditioning was major plus for my group of 34 as well) I brought my own center pieces to add my own personal touch and we had the beach BBQ menu. The food was fantastic!! My whole group actually loved the food the entire stay. I gained 10 pounds in two weeks!!! Feel free to ask any questions! Happy Planning!!

We decided against the DJ and just used our Ipod touch. My cousin made sure everything flowed. They have all the hook-ups for it, with huge speakers. We brought CD's just in case. Do your speeches early. We ran out of time for the dance, ( I had time for the first 5 dances, my garder and bouquet toss) but they played my Ipod (reception playlist) at the disco, I couldn't believe it, so it all worked out....

Thanks Sara! So I have heard (not a 100% sure) that in Alberta (Red Deer) they will not except my marriage cert in Spanish. This really sucks if that's the case. I have no idea where to even start. Is there anyone else who had to do this? I would really appreciate the steps or contact info. Thanks Ladies!

Hi Everyone, We are also back from our wedding. We stayed for 2 weeks! It was fantastic!!! We had a blast!!! Yaly is such a sweetheart, she made sure everything was perfect! I would recommend this resort to anybody! Thank-you to all the lovely ladies who gave great tips along with great advice! I will post some pictures along with a review for furture brides to come.

Hi Ladies, I am also having my gm wear ivory shirts with dark beige pants. My FI will a white dress shirt b/c my dress is white. I getting the gm to wear ivory b/c my flowers have alot of ivory (choc and teal) in them and I need to tie that in together. My girls are wearing choclate and a trim of teal (the gm will have teal in their Boutnaire and a choc trim down the stem) Can you girls help me find some NICE beige dress shirts? White dress shirts? I'm freaking out cause I can't find anything I like! Thank-you sooooooo MUCH!
