I am sure that rates fluctuate for different times of the year, but it can't hurt to ask. hey thanks for the info. I called and they offered me $174 / person / day for january. flying from Canada is pretty pricey so doing the package deal with the flight pretty much is the same, expensive for my guests! oh well- i cant keep stressing about it!

All they had to do was say one of our room numbers and they were in. hahah Too Funny. All they would do is go to their room to change at night. hahah Claudia knew about my photographer and didnt bother to charge me a visitor fee. How were your drinks?? Hey guys, i have a question and a problem- my sister (MOH) and cousin (bridesmaid) are both students and cannot come to cancun for a full week b/c of school and finances. my travel agent quoted them 3500 each for 1 week at dreams (they were going to fly down on new years and my wedding is jan 4). 3500 each is crazy and they for sure cannot pay this! so we are looking into getting them seperate flight and hotels and i looked into Krystal and the Hyatt b/c i heard from the forum that they are a lot cheaper. if they flew with westjet and stayed at the krystal for 4 nights, they would be looking at around 1000 from toronto and 1400 from alberta. BUT they are really worried about having to pay for a day pass Every day that they come to Dreams. if they both have to pay for a day pass for 4 days, that would suck. sylvia and lisa, you guys mentioned that your guests got in without the day pass so could you please tell me how they did it! my travel agent said that dreams is really strict about letting ppl in and they always charge for a day pass! and btw sylvia- does Krystal have food at the resort and how far is it from dreams? thanks guys!!!

And on our last day at the resort, we had the whole group up to our room for coffee and cake, so it all worked out! They just put it in a freezer for us and delivered it to our room for us along with the coffee and some plates! aww congrats! wow you look Amazing! looove your pics! so happy for you im glad to hear someone finally say that they liked the cake! What kind was it?? thats cool that they saved it for you to eat later! i like that. can I also ask you what your music was for the ceremony? did you have a few different songs? thanks so much for the review! all of us future brides cant wait! -

You should be able to negotiate based on drinks and apps for one hour and live entertainment. Look at the price list and see what that entitles you to. hey maria- did Cecilia give you the trade of cocktail hour for 15 extra ppl covered at dinner? how many guests do you have coming? i still have no idea but it would be nice to have the option to trade...

I thought that was very nice of her to say Diana- Congratulations! wow you looked amazing! Thank you SO MUCH for the review and all the details! very much appreciated! I have a questions about the whole upgraded cake. I have asked Cecilia 3 times if i could get a nice cake instead of having dessert and she has said NO 3 times! Is this something you had already changed with Gaby or did you ask Cecilia to do this directly? She really wont budge on it with me and its so annoying b/c i know others have done it!!! thanks again

aww BIG HUGS to all the may brides being affected by the flu! totally sucks- everyone has put so much time into planning! I know you all must be so stressed out but we are here for you! I was talking to ppl at work about this and theres 4 girls that got married in the Dominican in Punta Cana, all last year. and they all recommended going there- beautiful resorts and the resorts are usually affordable so hopefully you wouldnt have to pay extra. I was in Peurta Plata last year and saw a wedding there too- they had a sweet gazebo and excellent food all week. Good luck! our thoughts are with you all

Lisa- cool idea! i really love your book. thanks a LOT for sharing!!! i am going to try to figure out how to edit it- like add more pages and maybe a few pics of me and my fiance- can anyone help me with this?? (I think I have heard that) Can a past Dreams Cancun Bride give us a Play by Play?? LOL hi, im posting a copy of the SYMBOLIC non-legal wedding script that I recieved from Gaby: Wedding ministry 1.- Scripture of Genesis “ And God created man on His own image ....Gen 1:27 2.- Welcome words: We have come together, family and friends….. 3.- Pray about the ceremony and for the couple 4.- Brief sermon about love: 1Cor 13 Love is patience love is kind, it does not envy,…. 5.- Response questions, to groom and to bride, do you come on your free will and with a consicious desire to be united in marriage with….? 6.- Exchange of traditional vows: with groom and wife I___ take you ___ to be my wedded wife ,to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer in sickness and in health and forsaking all others I give myself only and always to you until death do us part And so with the bride… 6.- Exchange of rings What token of love and fidelity do you have to seal the pact we are doing today? _____ receive this ring as a symbol of my life that I am giving you today and always, with this ring I thee wed and so the bride 7.- Pronouncements: Because you ___ and ___ have exchange before us your promises of eternal love, and in our presence you have exchange symbols which make this pact visible I as a servant of the Living God pronounce you before The Father, Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit and the community as husband and wife. So you are no more two but only one, what God had joined together let no man separate. Congratulations!!! You may kiss your Bride. Let me introduce you for the first time Mr. & Mrs. ________________ after reading it, i decided we would write our own vows..its kinda too religious for me, plus i think its much more beautiful saying whats in your heart to your new hubby!

I emailed her, but she has not responded. hi kate, i started out working with Gaby and I changed my dates many, many times! she said it was fine. their contract is not set in stone- if you have things you want to change later, its ok. i have changed things like food and adding/deleting things from my contract countless times over the last 6 months already. just keep in mind that may is popular and you should try to figure out what date is the best for you soon.

Ugh I wish everyone just stays at Dreams!!! hey Michelle- I asked Gaby about the guest pass for wedding guests and she told me that guests coming for your wedding DO NOT have to pay for a pass as long as they come around 30 mins before the wedding. you should definitely fight to get this. i talked to a past bride who said a bunch of her guests came an hour before and they had no issues. just get them to bring a copy of the invitation with them when they come
