  5. Congratulations and welcome Savannah! You have absolutely beautiful destinations selected and a very tough choice ahead of you! Happy planning!
  6. I use the Pearl Resorts for clients all the time in French Polynesia. They're fantastic and often you can get special discounts if you stay at their properties on different islands. You can end up with free nights and sometimes even breakfast included (right at a $60-80 savings on Bora Bora). Moorea is great for activities (swimming with dolphins, motu picnics, 4x4 safaris) and Bora Bora is perfect for getting away from it all. I wouldn't spend more than a day on Tahiti...two at the most. Congratulations and happy planning!
  7. Welcome and congratulations!
  8. Hi Rachel! Welcome and congratulations! I love Antigua...white beaches (365 of them!!) and turquoise water...absolutely beautiful!
  9. Welcome and congratulations! Be sure to contact TA Jennifer...she would be a perfect resource for you since she is the resident Couples, Sandals and Jamaica specialist. Personally, I love Sandals Whitehouse...it is one of my favorite resorts and you could always have a 4pm ceremony (if you are open to alternate times) and then your photos can be taken at sunset.
  10. Congratulations and welcome to the forum! If you are staying in Ocho Rios I would definitely, definitely look into Coyaba Gardens and Waterfall...it is stunning and a favorite wedding location for locals. I'd be happy to send you photos if you're interested.
  11. Hi Sarah, Congratulations and welcome! Bora Bora is one of the most romantic places on earth. It is a French territory so you won't be able to have a legal ceremony there without a 30 day residency, but you can have your legal ceremony in the US and a fantastic traditional polynesian celebration in the destination. I can't wait to see the photos!
  12. Hi Linda, Congratulations and welcome! If you're not getting married at Beaches I have a colleague that I use for destination weddings in T&C...she is fantastic. If you would like her name and contact information just let me know.
  13. Welcome and congratulations! What a fantastic destination for your wedding! Where in Turkey are you planning to marry?
  14. Congratulations and welcome to the forum!
  15. Hello and congratulations! What dates are you considering for your wedding? Remember that New Zealand's seasons are opposite ours so our summer is their winter. The spring months here would offer an autumn wedding there with all of the harvest festivities at the wineries...simply beautiful! I think you've made a great choice if your dates are flexible. I would love to have a chance to discuss your options further. Please feel free to PM me! Best regards, TA-Melinda
  16. Ireland is one of the most amazing destinations on earth and definitely one of my favorites. It offers a combination of beauty, history, romance and warmth that makes it a truly unforgettable experience. There is nothing better than relaxing by a roaring peat fire and enjoying the warmth of local humor in a pub or snuggling down in your luxurious castle room after you've enjoyed a day of sightseeing. Just 3 short years ago destination weddings to Ireland were just a dream and now thanks to relaxation of restrictions Ireland can be the spot for a dream destination wedding! Of course a honeymoon to Ireland is the next best thing! TA Melinda
  17. Hi Everyone! Thank you! Just a note that I will be attending Luxury Travel Expo next week in Las Vegas and will have access to email, but with a 24 hour response time while I'm out of the office. ~Melinda
  18. You will absolutely love Portugal! I just came back from Portugal and Spain in May and Portugal is one of my favorite European countries. It has everything...fantastic food, great nightlife in Lisbon, phenominal wines and it is so beautiful with so much history. I think it is a great choice for a honeymoon! Have fun! ~Melinda
  19. Hi Nitasarn, The current rates at Paris range from $160 to 260 per room per night plus tax depending on the dates and are based on 1-2 adults in the room. A room block (which can be arranged and facilitated by your TA) is a good idea in general because Vegas is a big conference destination and you don't want to run out of rooms for your guests prior to the wedding should there be several events occurring at the same time (as often there are). Vegas is also a great destination to have a room block arranged at your preferred hotel along with a more moderate option for budget conscious guests. Hope this helps! ~Melinda
  20. Hi Grace, You'll clear customs in CDG since it is your first port of entry in the EU. Hope this helps. Great wedding webpage btw. ~Melinda
