We did a welcome dinner the night before our wedding with all of our guests. We also did an excursion with the guests but didn't force anyone to come with us. We simply mentioned that we were doing an excursion the day after the wedding and if anyone was interested to let us know. I'd say about 75% of our guests came on the excursion (Tulum Ruins) so we were actually able to get a shuttle just for our group. I think it depends on the # of guests you have. If you have alot, it might be hard to get everyone together at the same time.

So interestingly enough, after telling DH yesterday that I posted this thread on this forum, he was a little suprised to hear that most ladies' FI/DH put the seat and lid down. I am VERY PLEASED to report that when I walked into the bathroom this morning, the seat and lid were both down!!!! I can't believe it! There's hope, LOL!

What a fun thread!! I totally agree with lots of these things! Drives me nuts when: -He leaves the toilet seat up, which is like 95% of the time...he's getting better though! -He leaves hairs on the sink! I agree with everyone else. -He talks to me about how his stocks are doing...like everyday. -I ask him to clean and he does the bare minimum. For example, I'll ask him to clean the bathroom sink, but all he does is wipe off his hairs with a paper towel. Ugh! I drive him nuts when (I interviewed him on these): -I sometimes wake him up on weekends if I get up earlier and can't fall back asleep. -I always make up some excuse to go to Target -I crank up the AC when I get hot and the heater when I get cold -I hog the TV to watch The Bachlorette, American Idol, SYTYCD, etc.
