Shoesiesluvr (Cindy) probably won't be sending in her pick....she's getting married tomorrow!!!! Â My amazon order arrived today & I can't wait to get started on the book!! I've even decided to put a halt to reading the book I am currently reading! You girls have me soooo intrigued! I love this!! Â

Crystal - I did read somewhere about people having trouble with the Nook in Canada. But it might have been more of actually buying it. But then again, you don't know what version of the nook people are talking about & sometimes you can't tell if it was 5 yrs ago or 5 days ago!

Ugh...now that I've ordered the Kobo, I'm debating on whether I want the Kindle! I forgot about the wi-fi option that the Kindle has!!! I put in a request to cancel my order for the Kobo, but I'm still not sure which one I should go with!! This is the reason I don't order tech. things!! LOL

I'm getting the Kobo from Chapters/Indigo. It's basically the Canadian version of the Kindle, but I believe it's available in the States as well now too! It was on sale for $128 (CDN!). And I just sent hubby a few "ideas" for stocking stuffers...a leather case & a clip light!

I would like to re-open this thread...but I need to put a Canadian twist on it!! Â I'm looking at the Kindle from amazon, or the Kobo reader from Chapters/Indigo. Does being in Canada hold any limitations for the Kindle?? Any comments on either e-reader?? Â Thanks! -

Book Club has selected a book for those of you interested!! Â I was just looking at the Kobo ereader on the chapters website. Has this one been mentioned here?? I might have to go to the store & have a look at it. Get a feeling for it in my hands! It's only $149, and then ebooks are only around $10 I think...I saw some for $4 & some for $13 when I had a quick look at the selection. Has anyone had anyone had any issues getting ebooks for this?? I would think any book published would be available in ebooks...

It sounds really good!!! Now i have to decide if I'm going to go ahead & buy this one to read, or if I'm going to continue to read the 6+ books i have on my shelf to read! Hmmmm....I guess they will always be there...I'll have to head out & buy it tomorrow! Â Â **I just had a look on amazon & it looks like it's not being released in paperback until Jan. 2011. Can I make a suggestion that all future picks be available in paperback? I know personally, I don't like to pay the extra money for a hardcover! If it's just me, then please ignore this statement! lol
