  2. never heard of them : many things (I would think!)
  3. I am just wondering if anyone has any ideas for a non-boutonniere?? I don't think we want to have a boutonniere, but since FI is wearing all white I would love to add some color to his ensemble. He is wearing all white linen casuals (http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...-32#post574921) & the shirt has no pocket so a hankie is even out of the question. More specifically I'm looking for something orange! TYIA for your help!

I checked into the personalized pens, but it seems to me that they were too expensive for my budget!
  5. YAY Kelly!!! GREAT DEAL! Aren't the sapphire rings beautiful!!! FI picked ours up on Thursday and I put it on last night...I had a hard time taking it off!!! I will post pics the beginning of next week! Theonly big thing left now is our docs. We're going directly to the consulate on Wednesday to do that. I'll go for my first fitting the middle of December and then its just doing up a photo list & completing my welcome books! We're on the final stretch ladies now!! It's so exciting!!!
  6. Absolutely!! You can def bunk at my place...we have a hot tub!!!
  7. Well...if we don't have anyone that is coming from any further east than KW then we could do in between Kitchener & London (if there is anything!!! LOL). What about Woodstock as an alternative?? Is that in between?? What's there??

  9. I vote Kitchener!! (or waterloo, cambridge) FYI...here is the link to the thread that started it all! http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t32771 Thanks for helping Tanya!
  10. Yes. The Bachata is a latin dance!! Along the same lines as the Merengue & Mambo (the names of the other 2 RIU resorts on the complex!) Yes please. Start a poll for me! Thanks Tanya!! Here is the link for Tanya's poll...http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t32919

To keep in the slot for the AC when you are out of the room. We ended up just saying we got locked out of our room so they gave us an extra. But I guess Tanya can clarify!
  12. Yeah...we just thought that pole dancing might be something fun & different for the girls to do! Oh...we were also thinking of having someone come in to teach us the Bachata since we are getting married at the RIU Bachata!!! We were just looking for something different to do! But I had my say...and now the girls are left to planning it!
  13. Oh no Kate!!! Not being able to eat at Thanksgiving has to be the worst torture!!! I'm glad you are feeling better now!
  14. Guilty! I will try to figure out how to do a poll. Does anyone know if I can just add it to this one??
  15. Good Luck all you wonderful, amazing ladies!!!
  16. 21st works for me (so far!) I think we'll have to see who all is interested & pick a central location - I vote for Kitchener!!! hahahaha Anyway have any ideas about what to do?? Snacks & a drink...bowling...pool (as in billiards - not swimming!)...pole dancing lessons?? LOL Actually I think that's what we're doing for my bach. party...anyone want to come!!?? lol

We might just wait til later in 2009 and upgrade them. That is what we are doing. My e-ring requires a custom band, but with the new house & christmas it's just not in our budget right now. FI actually picked up our bands today. Mine is about a 1/4" wide band with tiny diamonds & sapphires alternating around it - I LOVE it! I will wear my e-ring on my right hand until we get the custom one for it. I decided to go with the non-traditional wedding band because now when I get my "real" one I will have a really nice ring to wear on my other hand! Good luck with the rest of your list!!
  18. I'm around...just actually trying to be more productive at work!! Some of us work you know!!! LOL Not sure what day yet...I'm just waiting to see what the general consensus is! (I will warn you all that I am really bad at making decisions!! I will keep the spreadsheets & organize...but someone will have to make the final decisions!! LOL)

Plus I have a 6 month old to bring for 2 weeks...I've been told I should bring all of his food, diapers and necessities. Plus I have 75 stainless steel mugs, 36 OOT bags, candles, vases, yeah 44lbs. So anyway, Air Canada Cargo is a saviour!! Thanks for the info...but I'm going to Dominican Republic!! I too am only allowed 44lbs!! I don't know how that's going to happen!! I might just pay for the extra suitcase!
