Lol....that's funny! My FI is the same way-his favorite thing to say is: "Just tell me when and where the day before, and I'll be there!" So needless to say, I have planned EVERYTHING! He is not in to that kind if stuff-so i feel your pain!

We sent out wedding invites to everyone who we gave STD's to(that sounds funny...lol.) Even if they aren't going, we still gave them invites. We're getting married on Oct.16th and I just mailed out our invites on Saturday. I think 4-6 weeks is standard, and if a STD has been sent so guests are aware of what you're planning, it should be fine....I could be wrong though!

We are doing a symbolic ceremony as well...I think in the end it's going to save us so much time and paperwork (not to mention blood work! ) I actually have the name and email of the minister who does the symbolic ceremonies at the Palace (Kelly is right, he does have a thread on here): Marco [email protected]. I emailed him to see how the ceremony will work and he gave me this outline: ·Welcome ·Charge of Marriage (Meaning of Marriage) ·Vows Exchange (your own vows) ·Rings Exchange ·Blessing of the union and couple ·Pronouncement Presentation of the Couple We are writing our own vows, so it was important to me to see if we could incorporate this into the ceremony, and Marc said he is more than willing to do so! I have heard mixed reviews about Renova-I read that it is very small and the girls don't speak english very well... I decided to get my hair done by Suzanne Morel (I couldn't shake an uneasy feeling of getting my hair done at Renova). I got her name from some girls on here who have used her and seem VERY happy with the results. Suzanne is kinda pricey, but in the end i feel confident she will do a great job! Ceramic is definitely the way to go!! It doesn't 'pull' your hair and your hair actually feels soft afterwards. I don't have a CHI, but have heard good things! Mine is called 'hairtools'..

Hi girls, Myself and my FI have decided to do Tequila as our wedding favors...instead of bringing all of it with us on the plane, we thought it would be more convenient (and cheaper) to buy in Mexico. If anyone has done this, and knows of a good place in Cabo-could you let me know? Also, is there anywhere that sells mini bottles?? **I did a search on this topic and could not find anything really helpful...so i apologize if there IS something out there that I happened to miss that answers my question!**

PHEWWWW!!! Daniela just emailed me and said she made a mistake on the day..she meant to October 14th, not the 16th. Thank god!! Way to give a bride-to-be a heart attack! Lol.

You're right Kelly....I am so annoyed! Despite some of the other posts about her, Daniela has been great up until this point. I'm happy to know that I am not over reacting!!!!

I have a bit of an issue rigth now....Daniela emailed me the other day to set up a time for us to go over the final details of our wedding....the day and time she requested is unacceptable!!!! We are getting married on October 16th at 2pm- Daniela would like to meet THAT day at 10:30am. My hair appt. with Suzanne Morel is at that time (which I have already paid my deposit for) and I have to get my makeup done...i emailed Daniela back to tell her this and told her the last thing i want to be doing on my WEDDING day is going over final details!!! ANyone who has goten married at the Palace please tell me-Is this normal that you meet the day OF I was under the impression that we could meet ANY day after our arrival to Cabo...if she can't re-schedule, I think i will lose my mind!!!!

Hi Ladies! I need your help with ideas of attire for the men!! I would like something different besides tan/khaki pants and a white button up. Though, I do think that look is very classy-I just thought maybe there was some color combo I could do that I haven't thought of... Here is an attachment of my BM dresses...the picture is a little misleading as the dresses aren't that dark blue....they're turquoise (see atttached) and the sash is ivory, not black.
