I noticed in the contract I signed for Fabio, it said that day passes can not be used for private events. Does this mean that if we have a private dinner, ONLY those people staying at our resort can come to the dinner? Or can people pay for a guest pass if they are at a different resort and come to our dinner? Thanks! Meghan

I actually haven't been given a quote yet....we aren't getting married till july 2010. The Wedding Holiday said approx. $1600-1800 all inclusive for one week...haven't asked about 3 days yet, but wiill soon. I'll see if i can get more exact numbers and i'll post them when i find out. For those of you who said you got quoted around $500 for 3 nights, what does it come to with air fare?

Hey Shannon and katie, I'm going through the Wedding Holiday as well and I am going to the bridal shower on the 13th. Shannon, I'm confused as to why you had to upgrade to the honeymoon suite ....what did that have to do with the wedding package? It sounds like the azul photographers are really bad....does anyone know where I could see some samples of their photos? And are they using the same photographers at the azul sensatori that they do at azul beach? I would really rather not pay an extra amount to bring in my own, but if they are really bad.....

Deb, I've been told I can have an english speaking judge that is legal...send an email to [email protected], and they will tell you. I haven't booked my package yet, but I've been told by my travel agent that she will get us the opening rates (about $1600-1800 plus tax) now for July 2010, when we want to get married.

I was told that that you can have a symbolic ceremony that is legal, and there are judges that do it in english. Maybe if you want a minister, it might be different, but I know the judges speak english (I'm not religious so that's why Im having a judge instead of a minister). Have you emailed them? Here is one of the wedding planner's emails...ask what they do about english ceremonies: [email protected] CANDJO8 With respect to deals, Karisma hotels does not give any discounts like some other hotels do. ASH0628, I think this resort is absolutely amazing. They have a great reputation for for service, all their restaurants are gourmet, all rooms are suites, the beach is beautiful, and they specialize in weddings. They do only one wedding a day on the smaller resorts, so you will have their complete focus on you.

We get our break in March, and I considered March for our wedding, however, it is sooooo much more expensive then (thinking about our guests more than us...we personally don't mind paying more) but we also wantd to stay longer than a week so we could have some time alone....and march break is only one week.

Hi Kathie! I am not set on Aruba yet, but if I do decide Aruba it would be through the the Riu palace. I am also considering Riviera Maya, Azul Sensatori through Karisma. I'm just concerned about the weather, because we have to go in July. Aruba is out of the hurricane belt, but I am worried I will get rain at Mayan Riviera. I have been to Aruba before though and the beaches are absolutely gorgeous!! Not much entertainment though if that is important to you.

Thank you Debbie for the Suggestions. That is good to know that they are more strict than some other places when it comes to their ceremonies, as I am not fully decided on Aruba yet. My fiance and I are not athiest...but we just don't really celebrate any particular religious beliefs. All we would request is that "God" not be said during the ceremony....other than that, we are pretty easy with any symbolic or spiritual statements, as long as they don't specifically refer to God. If we did get married in Aruba at the Riu, is it an option to have you officiate it?
