I just keep gaining since my wedding. I gotta get this heading back the other direction.

Ladies, you've all been blogged! Kamharrisphoto’s Weblog And look fabulous. So, I might be up for one of the summer shoots in NYC. Anyone want to pick one of the dates and try to get a group together? One of the July dates would work best for me.

Stephanie, this sucks! I would totally say something to your EX, but in a non-confrontational way like others have said. Just tell him that her attitude is not necessary and it makes a difficult situation that much harder. Maybe he will agree and already knows she is out of line, but just doesn't say anything to her to avoid a fight. She may be his FI, but they aren't her kids and in the end her opinion doesn't really matter.

Wow, you can definitely see a change in your body. Its must be so great to be able to see your results! I just sent in my final weigh in. In the end, I've gained several pounds, but at least I didn't quit. I'll be more motivated for BL6 and signed up for that 5k just to make sure I have a goal in the next few weeks. Although, I started my running program yesterday and I'm pretty sure that my ass and legs are filled with lead. I felt so heavy running. Blah.

Congrats ladies! IDK where I was, but I missed the whole thing. lol

Clearly a man made this up! lol I might just modify it and print it out for DH. I think 10 years is long enough to wait for diamonds.

So, I figure the pics are printed on paper and that would be my first anniversary gift.

Question for you ladies, how long does it take before you will have the final product?

Hey girls, with all the crap going on for you with the whole dj thing, I thought I'd post a couple of pictures from my day to get you excited about your wedding location. All photos are by Del Sol Photography del Sol Photography The deck Reception area We had a fabulous full moon slip out from behind the clouds during our reception

We're doing ours on the Reef Grill deck - the Chill Out chic package with buffet. Our reception was in the same place. We didn't do the chill out chic package, but we did have a buffet. It worked out really nicely. We did the Wish package and then customized it to have what we wanted. I found this was less expensive for us, but we weren't interested in the loungy beach seating. That looks really cool though. If you go on trip advisor and search Paradisus there is a bride on there who wrote a review and did the chill out chic package. She has pictures on there and a video I found a while back. It may take some searching since I found it while I was planning my wedding and I'm sure many reviews have been posted since then. Actually, I think her video was on youtube.

Now we're starting to concentrate on the details - in particular the music. Instead of doing live music (which would be our first choice) or a DJ, we are considering going the iPod route. Though I did receive a quote from Luis at Swank for $1466. But after reading some of the earlier posts, does this mean even if I don't use them I will be billed for 15% of the original quote? Also, is $1466 for 4 hours reasonable? We would love to do live music, but $1200 for 45 minutes is unfortunately not within our budget. Is anyone doing live music and able to find a better deal? If we do go with the iPod, can anyone tell me what arrangements we will need to make? We'll need a sound system of course. We also would like to do a projection screen so we can air a photo slideshow during the cocktail hour and buffet and then play our favorites music DVDs for the dance party - sorta like a concert experience. I have asked about this from Perla, but have not heard back. Do we use Swank for the equipment or does the resort take care of that? Any advice you can give is very much appreciated!!! Happy to have found and be a part of this forum! Thanks! Brooke Hey Brooke, welcome to the thread. I used an ipod for my wedding because the costs for a dj or live music were just out of our budget. We brought down our bose docking station for the ipod and it worked great. We did have a smallish group of people~ 28 so for us the ipod was the perfect thing. And the bose was definitely loud enough. I believe that Swank provides the equipment for a slideshow. One of the other brides on the thread is using the same thing. I can't remember who off the top of my head...

FLgator, don't worry about butting in. The more info the better! Keep it coming ladies. And thanks...

Lisa, don't be too down on yourself. You deserve to have a good time! When does your dress come in? That will definitely keep you motivated. I'm in for season 6 as well. Since I gained this time, there's a chance I might even win the next one. Competition really motivates me. Although, I am sick of losing the same pounds over and over again. Yesterday I signed DH and myself up for a 5k in May (without his knowledge lol). He needs to exercise and we both keep putting off being consistent with it. I figured this would be a good way to get us going. I HATE to run, but maybe if I have a goal I will learn to love it... well at least not hate it.
