    I fought off a yucky headache and lifted weights at the gym after work. Also I rode my bike to and from work like usual. I'd like to lose about 10 pounds and then just maintain. Since I have a little less than a year (I think...haven't set a date yet) I figured that's a good plan. I'm doing the New Rules of Lifting for Women, Stage 1. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in weight training! (Or even if they're not .

    After trying on dozens of dresses at five different shops, I bought my dress last weekend! It's a Renella DeFina and because it was a sample, I got it for a great price! It's being cleaned right now but I hope to have some pics of me in it soon. It's hard to tell from the pic, but it's a slim A-line and I will probably take out the crinoline so it lays closer to the body. It doesn't come with the brooch/feather/etc. and I am undecided as to what I will do in that area. I have plenty of time to decide though .
