  1. I really would love to make it to the Robbins Brother's store to pick out my ring, but it's several hrs away (i live in San Antonio) and my fiance is in Japan, so little problem there. He wants to have the ring by the time he gets back in June so we are looking into places that you can do phone orders or order online. Ring shopping hasn't been my thing, too many to choose from!!
  2. Great pictures, they have helped so much! Especially since Dreams isn't available for next April 2009, it's already all booked on weekends! So all those hotels were great options, especially Le Meridien, the terrace looks awesome, I am concerned about how expensive it might though.

I though it was harder to get a date in Los Cabos!
  4. that's a nice room! hey did any of you girls get married before your DW? If you did, did you and the groom have separate rooms?
  5. I've decided to change my destination to Cancun instead of Los Cabos, the hotel seems to have a lot more options but only thing is they don't allow outside vendors. I might stick with the sound system and IPOD system, but what did you gals use for the ceremony? I'm having to cut a lot of things to make sure I stay within my budget. Nadia
  6. your wedding looked beautiful! I really like that the Moon Palace has the carriage. I have about 75 guests attending so I don't think I'd be able to do it in the gazebo. I'm still debating about where to have the wedding.

  8. After reading up a lot on Los Cabos Dreams, in regards to the nightlife, it seems like Cancun is more convenient as far as location to clubs/bars. I have friends who'd love to go out and party after the reception/cocktail party, and I wouldn't mind checking it out either so it helps if it's nearby. Do any of you know what the crowds are like in April in Cancun?
  9. Do they translate the ceremony? I have family that only speaks Spanish and my FI's family only speaks English, so I need the ceremony in both! Still trying to figure out how it's gonna work out as far as music selection goes. Nadia
  10. Thanks for all the info, just a couple of questions for you girls... are you using the wedding packages at Dreams? I can't figure out if it's better to use the packages or do everything separate. What are some names of vendors and prices that you used during or will use (for future brides)? Nadia
  11. I guess a lot of us girls are having difficulty with opening attachments, I'm on the same boat, so if anyone has received any of the attachments could you please forward them to my email address [email protected]. I'd like to see more on the Dreams Cancun resort because as of now I'm having it in Dreams Los Cabos, but Cancun seems a lot less expensive for me and my guests! Thanks girls! Nadia
  12. I have to agree with what a great review you gave. I've gotten so much info from it, and being new here and just beginning to plan my wedding at Dreams it really has given me lots of ideas! I'm curious about the package too because I havent decided whether to get everything (DJ, florist, cake) separate. Oh and who did you use for music during your ceremony?
  13. If your ceremony and reception are at different times I'm sure they can work with it.
  14. I'm planning to reserve Dreams too in Cabo for April 2009, do any of you have a good TA you can recommend? I really want to help out my guests as much as I can. How much do they charge? Thanks ladies! Nadia
  15. Hey girls, o.k, few questions, did any of you use any of the wedding packages that Dreams offers? I want to know if it's useful to use them or just find local vendors. I'm assuming the coordinator will help find vendors if I need to (right?). Also, did you use any websites, travel agents to help the guests book their hotel and flight so they can save some money? What hotels are around Dreams that were affordable? I want most of my family to be able to come so I want to help them out as much as I can and steer them in the right direction. Thanks! Nadia
  16. Thank you all for the warm welcome. After reading many threads I've narrowed my choice down to Dreams hotel. I just have to find vendors to go along, oh yeah and still pick a date
  17. Hey gals, my name is Nadia and I am planning to wed in Cabo San Lucas sometime next January or possibly April 2009 (one of those two months, not sure on exact date). I'm still researching hotels to find whats the best time to have the wedding. Any tips from others planning a wedding there or have had one already, let me know, thanks!!! Nadia
