Don't get upset about the wedding happening right after yours...keep in mind that the ceremony only takes about 10 minutes - so that gives you plenty of time to take pics and move on to another location in this beautiful resort - it will work out nice for you - you will just have pics from other places around.

I had to get the divorce paperwork done for the wedding and would be glad to share the info if it's still needed - just not sure if it has been answered or not. I just ordered my guestbook from Guestbood store and what a great site!!! Thanks very much for that little tid bit of info...Just for everyones future use I did find a 10% coupon for them... If you type in THANKS in the coupon field durring check out you get it!!! Nice idea and different then the usual Blah guest books...should give the guests something more fun to do while I am off taking pics and stuff

SunBride, I think I asked this question before but don't know that I have seen a reply to it yet... I loved the way you had the starfish on the back of the chairs...did you have to bring those with you or where they available at the resort? You really did start a nice trend with the Tulle...I am just afraid that with all the crap that I am already bringing for the welcome bags - Tulle will be a bit much --- but it does look quite nice and truly carries out the color of the wedding. Maybe I can volunteer a guest to bring it for me

Your pics really turned out great - you both look very happy and that's most important really istn't it Here are the couple of questions that I have: I tried to make reservations for the Seaside restaurant for the reception in October and was told that I can't do that b/c of ongoing complaints from other guests...did you have that reserved before hand or did you just take care of it when you got there? Did you make the Spa reservations when you got there - or did you have those in advance as well? Did you bring "Welcome" bags with you - if so - how was the process of delivering them? Thanks a million and congrats once again to you and your new husband!!!

I feel your pain woman!!!! I was in love with this resort for 2 whole days - imagined my self getting married there- and the whole thing and then came to the same realization after I talked to the hotel directly...NO BEACH I was very sad - and didn't think I would feel the same way agian... untill I found Dreams Tulum...were they also alow children - that was very important to me... and now I am well in teh works of planning there... Good luck now

SNeen and Bleek you guys are sharing a wedding day - that's soooo sweet... The prices though are crazy---I am getting married in October (the 7th) and the prices are 1/2 - we just have to risk getting hit by a hurracaine - small price to pay (NOT) But it just worked out to be the best month for us. - Do check on line anyway though.

I have done A LOT of shopping around for travel pricing- my mom is a travel agent and she wasn't even able to find the prices that matched what I found on the web. So I would say that searching on the web is your best bet. You will have to do some extra work to find the transportation if you will not be renting a car ( we are renting a convertible Jeep for the 10 days we will be there ) I will gladly let you know the site I used if you would like to send me a PM.

Hello everyone once again...I have read throught the blog and can't seem to find it so maybe someone can direct me quicker then it's taken me to find some samples of the work that the DT photo and video guys do. We are getting the complete wedding package that comes with the vidio and pics so I want to see if it's really necessary for me to hire a third party to get in there. Is there anyone that has had a positive or a negative experience to share with me (us) about the photo/video people that are part of the package? I am looking to use the same people for my rehersal and post party request for pics so I want to be sure that they are responsive. Thanks to all in advance- - it's really quite fun and easy planning a wedding with a group of gals and all this info available for use

We are having our wedding on a Tuesday...but in October. Figuring since people are coming in already does it really matter what day the wedding is on But a $1000 difference might make or break a trip for a lot of poeple. You and your FI should just decide what's improtant to you more people show up or you have it on a day that you imagine to be right. Good Luck

I am also looking for a vidiographer service. Lookint to spend about $2000 for the service, but I want some footage outside the wedding as well to be included - does anyone have some contact info that you have investigated?

Your explanation is great and you would think it would clarify everything...but... I still have a question about the banquet facilities there now. Do they do all the rehersal/welcome dinners there as well. We will have about 20-25 people there so will we have to book the rooms for all the nights that we want to have a joint dinner set up. How does the food work for that then? Thanks a lot
