  1. Thank you so much. I think I may have an older version because mine doesn't have that template. I have like maybe 8 to pick from...tops. I will look into getting a new version.
  2. Michelle, I am also using iWeb but the templates available are soo boring. Did you desing your template or where did you get it? Your web page looks awesome!
  3. So Sarah, did you place the address labels directly on the bottles? Did you use white or clear labels? Do you happen to have a pic?
  4. Welcome Victoria! Can I ask where in Belize are you getting married. Belize was a destiantion I looked into so I am curious to see what location is hosting your wedding. I am sure it will be lovely.

  7. Guys thank you sooo much for all your support and good advise. I feel better already. Nic- I LOOOOVE the picture. Starchild-Thanks for the catholic info. I have contacted 3 different churches in my area and none would do it in less than 6 months. I will call my diocese today and request info on the weekend class deal. I just joined this site and I love it. Aaaaw people that I can relate to. I don't feel like I am so crazy anymore after I hear people in the same situations as me
  8. I am soooo sad. I came to the sad realization that I was stressing waaaay too much trying to get the wedding together by June. We just got engaged this New Years and we were really really trying to get the wedding done before the summer. Little did I know ALL the work involved in putting a DW together! My FI still doesn't know all the work involved. He doesn't understand why I stress so much. So back to my story, there were so many things that weren't working out for us like 1) I still haven't found a reception site so haven't sent save the date cards or any notice 2) I haven't found a dress and many shops are telling me it takes 3 to 4 months for arrival and another 1 to 2 months for alterations. 3) Our church is requiring us to do some classes that will last at least 6 months and we need it done way sooner. In addition, we decided that we were set on having an outdoor reception and found out it may be a little too hot in June for people to be comfortable. Sooooo, after all those disappointing news we decided to move the date to Nov. I feel relieved but at the same time I am really really sad because I was so pumped and ready to go. Has this happened to anyone?
  9. I have filed all the paperwork for citizenship already. I am basically just waiting on my interview. I should get it any time soon but I think they are really backed up....I hope to get it before wedding day.
  10. I have a similar problem. My FI is a US citizen but I am not. I'm in the middle of the process for my citizenship so it gets really confusing. There is a good chance that by the time we get married the process will be complete and I will be a citizen. Otherwise, we are going to have to file all the fun paperwork you were talking about. I will be interestd in getting more info too, just in case.
  11. Thanks everyone for all your help. Yeah I'm still looking for that perfect place that is indoors but also has the outdoors easily accesible.
  12. Many of my guests are coming from Houston too! . I am not doing my wedding at a resort. I was getting ready to book a restaurant on PDC right on the beach when some friend's of mine who visited Playa (who also live in Houston) told me that Playa is really hot. It made me really nervous.
  13. Hello! I am planning on having my wedding in late June 08 and would love to have the reception outdoor right by the beach. I am wondering if the weather would be too hot taking in consideration we will be doing some dancing. Has anyone had their wedding during that time of the year? Does the breeze from the ocean help cool the weather down? The last thing I want is for my guests (grandma) to be uncomfrotable and my make up runny. Help! Thanks!
  14. Thank you so much guys! Everyone is so nice
  15. I had the exact problem as you. We were set on having a nonresort wedding because we wanted our guests to have different lodging options. I am currently working with Caribbean Blue Weddings. Irene is super nice. I had also contacted Ajua Weddings but they never got back to me fast enough. They should know how inpatient brides could be. Anyhow, in my case customer service was very important and with Caribbean Blue Weddigns I always get a response within less than 24 hrs.
  16. I've gotten quotes from a few restaurants and the majority of them cost around $65 per person for the sit down dinner option. I know there is buffet options but I've only asked prices on sit down dinner. A few of the restaurants I have spoken to are Casa del Agau, Negrosal, Yaxche, Al Cielo and Maramao. Remeber that is just dinner. If you want an open bar the cost extra.
  17. Monica E 06/28/08....hopefully Riviera Maya...location still undecided.
