I am a photographer and I have never seen (or knew if they had) a groom with makeup on... I had a groom last year that broke out into hives the day of the wedding...it was mysterious and they never figured out why...could have been nerves...anyway we just retouched the photos. Now in this digital age most photographers will do minor retouching to your photos before you receive your proofs or online viewing.

I have had a few girls wear their wedding dress but most of them have worn a 2nd dress. I can understand not wanting to trash a dress you spent $$$ on! I would recommend finding something flowy because it looks awesome in the photos! I have a few photos of a dress trashing in the photo gallery. (not her real dress btw)
