Okay so I debated all morning whether or not to post actual photos of me in the dress, espcially because I will be changing it a little.. the 2 bows on the front will be REMOVED...no offense to anyone who has bows, they are just not me. The dress is Priscilla of Boston, bought it outside of Philly. The store was wonderful, I can't say enough about the service, and I went to alot of stores!!! By the way, the reason I look a little scared is because we were trying to take the picture quickly, they did not want us to take photos...

got the paper and envelopes at a store in pittsburgh called more than words. My mom lives there and she worked with the owner there to creat them with a few ideas I had. She was great and fast, a little on the expensive side though.

They are just the save the dates, we'll do the more traditional looking invites later. We figured we wanted to get out as much info as possible with the save the dates, we were already being hammered with questions and thought that was best. Plus we are getting married at The Azul Beach Hotel and it only has 98 rooms, so we needed to tell people in a polite way that the needed to book ASAP or esle they may not have a room...

We got the envelopes from a stationary store in Pittsburgh (where my mom lives), I think the brand might be envelopments they are orange on one side and a fuscia on the inside, and the colors were called sorbet. I will take another pic of the pages I put on the inside later on, I was short 7 so we had to order more...not sure how that happened!!

Thanks...ribbon came from Michaels. Was concerned that it would be a little too loud, but I think they turned out great.

I hope nothing is crooked, check out the large glass of wine next to me!

So sorry you are having issues...the same happened with me initially. I am now working with Nancy Finn at Island Getaways and she has been GREAT so far. She is recommended by a ton of brides on the Knot, which is how I got her name. Yes the group flight thing does not make ANY sense to me, because it is higher in price. I am having my guests book individually through my TA. Also, if you do a group booking you usually need to have 10 people on the same flight on the same itinerary, and I didn't want to force my guests to go on the same flight. Where do you live in Pittsburgh? That is where I am from! I now live in NJ but am from Upper St. Clair. Good Luck!!

Love the ribbon idea, my colors are pink/orange and lime green. and I think I want to the same. How did you do the limes in the little glass vases...did you buy them like that, or are the real limes?

so sorry I couldn't make it! I had both my mom and FMIL at my house putting the save the dates together. I would put pics, but I have NO IDEA how to! I also bought my DRESS yesterday at Priscilla of Boston...I am sooo happy got it. Looks like you guys had such a great time!

okay ladies I am about to book at azul and have about 60 guests coming. In order to prebook the rooms (there are only 98 rooms in the whole hotel so I need to make sure guests have a room) my travel agent is telling me I have to put a deposit down of 200.00 dollars a person which will be charged to my credit card and then returned once the room are actually booked by the guests. Do the math....12,000 dollars. what is your ladies experience with putting deposits down to prebook rooms??

Thanks! The woman at Azul had actually suggested it and said that yes they do weddings there...but of course I can't find too many pics. Cross your fingers that this works out becasue I am soooo ready to pull my hair out!

I really want to get married at Azul, but they will not accomodate me as I will have about 70 guests (they don't do wedding over 60). They recommended that I have my guests stay at Azul, and have my ceremony/reception at Maroma Beach Club about 10 minutes away. Any thoughts??

He was so nervous trying to get the ring through customs/security and said he just couldn't wait. How do I post a picture of the ring You can't download jpeg?
