That is really strange, I asked Yaly ahead of time and she said yes we would have someone. I know we didn't pay more for it, the only thing for the dinner we paid more for was to have them put down the dance floor.

We had a beach dinner and the Dj/MC was included in that. We burned everything on to CD's because I was worried that they would not have the right cables for my Ipod, then we would have no back up and I was not chancing that.

I made an OOT bag for Yaly, with just the pashmina, flip flops and soaps and body spray, etc. and we gave her cash. I brought a curling Iron and lots of hair pins and nail polishes and make-up, etc. for the hair dresser. They both loved them. The hairdresser actually cried while hugging me, it was too sweet.

It was not open when we were there, I would have loved to try it out.

Really I am kinda suprised that your own son could embarass you. He is 3, its understandable if he does silly things. My niece was 2 at my wedding, and she was our flower girl, she came up to me during the ceremony and asked me if I had a snack. I laughed and said no. We got a picture of it because its one of my fave moments from the wedding. If you have kids in your wedding, you expect these things can and will happen. If you are embarassed by your son being himself and acting his age, then maybe you should have someone watch him in the room till the ceremony is over. But really, I don't think its necessary, he is your son, so its his day too and he is 3, kids will be kids.

You arn't from Toronto are you? If so, you didn't get it from Sposabella did you? I ask because they are terrible there and do this all the time. And, I would not get it altered there if I was you, they are terrible.

I must say though, as long as they can alter it down to fit you and it still looks good, its not a big deal really, if they had ordered the 8 and it was too small, that would be a huge deal. My dress was altered down 2 sizes and it still looked exactly the same. I really think its going to be fine and its still going to look perfect on you. You should try to get some compensation though, because they messed up, they owe you. Fingers crossed that it works out for you.

I am going to ditto what Carly said. You really do need to try on EVERY dress you can before you find the right one. I got a dress that was totally not what I was looking for or thought would look good on me, but as soon as I put it on I loved it. Totally not the style I thought would look good. So, just try them all on, you might be suprised at what looks good on you. Fingers crossed that you get a dress soon.

I don't think its rude. I think its strange that they would do that, I personally would have stayed at a sister resort, but I have been a DW bride, so I would like about the bide and what might bother her, people who don't know what its like would not think about that.

I don't think she went there to control your wedding, she got a good deal and decided to jump on it and I understand that. If when you get there she starts acting sort of bossy, tell her that you are excited to figure these things out on your own and really don't want her opinion, but in a nice way of course. If she has a bad attitude and starts to say bad things, they cut her off right away. If she truly has good things to say that might help you, then I think you should hear her out.

I think you are doing the right thing by just letting it go, there is nothing you can do about it, so why stress about it.

You can still do OOT bags, just put something different in there, there is a huge wealth of information and great ideas on this forum I am positive you will find other items to give your guests. AND, when you make the bags you also make a tag that thanks your guests for coming and is from you and your FI, so they will know they are not from your TA.

I really don't think she tried to "Steal your thunder" at all, she is being thoughtful and kind and nothing else.

You just need to relax. Yaly is awesome and does a great job. So, don't stress about a thing, its going to be perfect.

I can't remember what the limit was. I think it was 3 or 4. Not less than 3 for sure.

They don't steam them, Yaly offered to have my ironed when I asked to have it steamed. LMAO, I told her thank you but no. I did was Sara recommended. I hung it up in the shower and steamed it whenever I had a chance. It was perfect on my wedding day.

We did decide on how we wanted the tables, I brought her a seating chart and they did exactly what I asked.

There is not way to close off the beach, but there was another wedding at the same time as ours and they were far away, we could not hear them at all and was as private as it can be on a huge open beach. We loved it.

I am going to have to think on this one, too many great people to choose from. Can't wait to hear the exciting news.

I honestly would be bothered by that. Not that its bad luck, but that is my ring, no one should be trying that on unless I tell them its okay. Now people have tried my ring on, but that is because I let them. I hope his FI doesn't find out about that, cause I can see that bothering her for sure. Not because of bad luck, but because its her ring.
