I TOTALLY agree about the Dyson Animal. We only have hardwood floors now but it still works wonders.
My other one is my Macbook. I love that thing and have used it daily for years and it's still going strong! -
Hubby makes a little more than me, but he is also 5 yrs older and has more and better degrees and works longer hours. My hope is that in about 3 yrs we could live of his income and my freelancing or something like that...that might just be dreaming though.

Very interesting thread because I JUST GOT A NEW JOB! woo hoo!
I am going to be a nonprofit fundraising consultant (grant writing and major donors) and I'll make 65k. It's the first time EVER I've made as much as DH, though his bonus is bigger.
I'm definitely grateful for the opportunities I've had living in DC. My salary has more than doubled in 4 years and I don't think the bad economy will affect my work. Like Christine said though, it's expensive to live here.

Ugh...I gained back the 1.5 I lost last week. Stupid Aunt Flo! And also going to a baseball game last night and eating garbage. UGH!!!!!
-
Ack! I'm late! Is it too late to give?

Gwen is obviously going to be a gifted and talented kid -- she's already 8 weeks ahead in life! And has so much hair! Sooooo cute! I'm so glad for this happy ending

I hope this comes across in a supportive/loving way, not a critical way, because I am totally not being critical here...just wondering what kinds of things the fund might do to support Ann? ie. pay for a hotel room for Paul, or flowers or gifts or some kind of treat or...something more practical that I am not thinking of? I'm really just curious and happy that everyone is pitching in to help.

Nice job Danielle!!
I am down 1.5. Not great, but that's okay...I just need to lose this every week and that's 12 lbs in the competition right?
-
they are all stunning!!!!! hard choice, you can't go wrong
-
I hope it's perfect!!!! Congrats!

I'm glad you liked Bradley (your pics were awesome). And it's good to hear positive things about the spa at the Cabo Surf. It wasn't open yet when I was there. Congrats on your wedding!

Wow, Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We spent about $1,000 on an excursion and did NOT do OOT bags, and I would totally do it the same over again. We have such fun memories, and we didn't have to lug a bunch of stuff down there. I know there's a variety of opinions on this, just wanted to share mine...don't feel guilty about not doing OOT bags!

I wrote a review of our zip line activity. We loved it!

Bradley is so fabulous to work with. Your photos are great! I can feel the happiness!

I'm glad you like it!

What if you keep the "lab" part as your brand. So something like Morgan's Bloglab. A scientist addicted to blog design -- or something?
-
I'm sorry but that is freaking insane.

Welcome! Tell us about your vision for your wedding -- what are you looking for? We can definitely help!

Yes, a HUGE thanks to Ann! I'm sure this is a lot of work to coordinate, and we appreciate it!
-
great idea! I've referred a lot of brides who don't end up using my link. Oh well, it's not like I can make them!
Sometimes I wish the Cabo Surf knew how much business I sent their way and would give me some free nights...a girl can wish, right?
-
welcome! what locations do you have in mind? We're happy to help
