Any Xcaret Park prices/weddings/contact?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ever gotten a hold of the WC at the Xcaret Eco-Park for info or prices? It sounds like a couple women tried and never made contact so it was taken off their list.

I would love to have my wedding there, but have no idea how crazy the prices are? Any help is appreciated!

Xcaret is beautiful and I hear it is a perfect place to have a wedding. So I checked it out and spoke with the WC. Fyi, it took me a while but I was finally to get some answers by calling and speaking directly to the WC.

Well, for a 80 guest party we were looking at around 20k ! About as much as I would pay at home.

Needless to say I quickly scratched this idea and found another place.

But if you are interested I strongly suggest you call asap because they do book in advance. I called in January for a late November wedding and it was booked!

I just got info from Julieta at the eco-park she replied within 2 days from my email request. I will post the info she gave me as long as I can figure out how to do it :) Note that there will be a 10% increase in 2009 approx. Hope this helps those of you interested. I plan to visit the ecopark next week and will post an update when I return.

Here are the rest of the attatchments, the prices seem resonable per this info from the special events coordinator. But I'm not sure if there are additional fees or not?

Keep in mind everything is charged separately. I was looking at having my reception at the dos playas restaurant. To rent it would cost $4,000 alone. Not including price for dinner which doesn't include the price of drinks, doesn't include the price of the ceremony, etc etc.

I don't want to discourage anyone but I also don't want anyone to get their hopes up as I did. My parents and I really wanted the wedding here but after totalling everything up for around 80 guests it would have cost $20,000. I don't have that kind of $$ to spend on a wedding.

Just got back from my site visits and wanted to report that the Xcaret Ecopark is beautiful and very expensive. We loved the chapel but to rent it for the ceremony was $1500, and to have drinks after the wedding it would have cost $2100 plus the cost of all drinks ($4-6 each), dinner was $4000 plus $52 per person for food and $32 for open bar. It's too bad it is so expensive because it was an amazing place. If anyone wants pictures of the chapel let me know.

Weren't you just heartbroken when you heard about the prices!? I was! My cousin went to a wedding there and said it was the most beautiful wedding she'd ever been to. The funny thing is she asked the bride about prices and the bride said it was inexpensive and totally doable! Ummm...yeah right! Not doable for me!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
