i love the idea of doing the virtual weigh in all together, but it will clog up the forum if we do a new thread every week, and for new girls it will be hard for them to search for. its better if we keep it to this thread i think just because it wont use up more forum resources than necessary. think of all the newbies who can be inspired by our thread. we can chitchat throughout the week on here and then whatever day you weigh in, you post. i personally weigh in on friday mornings.

I was kind of thinking the same thing, I think using one thread would be a great idea. I'm sure we will chat enough to keep it towards the top.

I weigh in on Friday's as well.

Ok, that is what I thought too...

Works for me.

No new thread.

Let's continue posting on this thread! We can even chat about the meetings, our goals and obstacles.

If you look at it that way I gues it is possible. Thanks for the new perspective.

I would like to do virutal weigh ins. I do really well, and then I go out of town, and then my food gets screwed up, and I like to drink beer on the weekends. I workout 3-5 times per week, but I guess I'm not doing the right workout. I swear my metabolism is non-existant. My first fitting is in a month, and I really want her to be able to take my dress in. Plus, being on the beach in Cabo for a week with the family. I don't want to look the way I do now. So frustrating.smile43:

I'm thinking of a personal trainer for 2 months. I'm doing a detox next week for 10 days to hopefully give my metabolism some kind of boost.

Thank for all the motivation.

I've done WW on and off for many years, lol! It really is a great program if you stick to it.

I was doing really good with it for a few weeks, I lost 10 lbs. and then I started exercising. I exercised hard 4 times last week, could barely walk I was so sore and I gained 5 lbs. Now I understand muscle weighs more than fat, but how demotivating is that!! I should have just stuck to not exercising and I probably would have lost a few pounds!!

I also an issue with drinking. I don't drink much anymore because I know when I do, the next day all I want to do it EAT! and not good food, every greasy, fatty, chocolate, thing I can get my hands on. Why do I sabotage myself!! So when I sabotage myself, then I totally fall off the wagon, I've been okay this week, but not totally counting points and I'm not even going near the scale!!

I think maybe if I go to the meetings it will help keep me more accountable. So, I'm in for the virtual weigh ins, even though I already got married!

I think the meetings I will be going to are on mondays, yikes! can't have a bad weekend with monday weigh ins!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
