Recommended Posts

ok, a little update - I've actually ordered our AHR invites!!! woop woop! something ticked off the list, and it's made me get excited about it all again - sending them out and waiting for replies is going to be mega exciting!!

still looking for somewhere to live, and it's my job today to phone up places to get viewings (whilst also trying to work! lol) so that should also be a step in the right direction on the moving front too :)

(Amy F, you'd be proud - I was stressing so much I wrote a list of what I needed to get done that was spinning round my head, and I felt better straight away! I do love a list!!)

Is it wrong of me not to do a OOT bag? (what does OOT stand forhuh.gif)

We are doing starbucks create a mug (not cheap) and putting names and pics of each person on the mug.

Great for keeping drinks cold, and bigger than most cups they give at the bar.

I lost 6lbs - but that was in 2 months!! 1st nov was my 1st weigh in (I'm using one of those machines in Boots that does it all electronically and prints it out - that way I can't cheat!!) and I did my recent one on 31 dec. next weigh in will be end of Jan so we'll see whats changed then (I know weight takes 3 weeks to put on after you've stuffed your face so i've got to make sure I don't put on what I should have over xmas!!)

new fitness regime starting this week :)
Please don't be jealous of me, I'm not tiny and far from perfect. It's all about illusions, I'm tall and wear tall heels. I have really long legs too so I appear smaller in clothing especially how I dress. I have a short torso and HUGE hips, seriously big ol' hips.

That's awesome you lost 6lbs!! Losing weight like I did, very quickly with a drastic diet change is not good for you and it's temporary. So don't be too impressed :)

No one is expecting you to do OOT (Out Of Town) bags and I'm sure they will be suprised to see awesome quality customized mugs. I say no worries :)

Lolo- great job on the corsages! I envy you... I'm not a handy DIY person AT ALL!

Re the OOT bags - I didn't do any and I truly don't believe that my friends cared. I think its a nice touch and people would appreciate it, but if you choose not to do them you aren't committing a serious crime lol.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
