Alisa - Ok looking at your photos, I really wish I could have come to your wedding! It looked like you guys had so much fun!

Also... you're wedding dress is STUNNING... I remember it before all the additions and you just rocked that dress out! I did a little gasp when I saw it... no joke. You're veil, OMG, amazing!!! Where did you get your garter? I want a black garter too :) I love your shoes and you makeup inspiration, how freaking cute are you! You're eyes too are so gorgeously blue I'm jealous!

I loved your OOT bags too! I'm doing a vintage inspired theme, my whole look is sort of art deco based off my dress so I'm trying to funk it up a bit with some classicness. LOL sorry I think I'm rambling.

All in all, I love it!

Oh for some reason, the sand looks almost red in these pics, but it was the same fuchsia/hot pink color I am using.

Happy Tuesday ladies!

How is everyone doing? I've been doing pretty good working on my items to get done.

Last night I finished writing everything for my Passport invites... it's hard because it's 4 pages of text! I'll have to go through it a few times more to make sure it all makes sense.

I also went to Banana Republic on Sunday and got FI's wedding outfit pants. As a memeber I received a coupon for 30% off everything so I got a good deal :)

I also finalized my guest book with the Etsy seller and should get that today.

I received my travel candles & my BD lingerie yesterday as well as some of my placecard ideas. I received my gift I purchased for the friend who threw me my lingerie shower that I have to put together still.

I think that's it! I hope you all are doing great bunny_4.gif

Hi Amy(kitten) what did you decide to do for a guest book? Im looking to do somthing different as well....

Im thinking about ordering some paresols for the girls... Not sure about flowers still...

We got bridesmaids dresses ON SALE at Macys this weekend. I let the girls pick the dress the dress, I picked the color! THey are all wearing Dark gray strapless dress with hot pink shoes! they still have to find shoes tho, again, I just picked the color..

They are all gonna look hottt :) they all loved the dress and they better since they picked them out :), happy bridesmaids=HAPPY BRIDE!

I just picked up a 4 pack of redbull today lol, im a hunters widow right now so I thought id get alot of stuff done today and tmrw.

Ive been seaching for a hair stylist and make up artist in RM area that will just come to my room and work for us girls the day of... This forum had a few suggestion on the vendor page, but Im still not sold on any of them. I heard that they ppl at our resort that work in the spa are freelance employees. Im not excatly sure what that means, but my thing is if IM gonna pay those outragous spa prices for hair and make-up id hope these ppl have certfiicates and degrees in cosmotology ya know....

Also, Ive been playing around with seating chart for ceremony. Id like to do somthing different... unique? i dont know, maybe a horseshoe type seating? somthing roundish VS square? Any ideas ladies?

Hi Amy (afrommert) - I purchased a PDF from a girl that customized it to our names and medding date and font. It's basically a bare tree image that I am going to print out on thick cardstock and bring with us a green stamp pad, pen and like purell to clean off your finger and you put your green finger print on the branch and sign your name next to it and then we frame it and hang it up when we get home. It says at the top "Our Family Tree" and below our names and wedding date. It was such a unique idea that i love it. I'll have to put up a picture of it.

I'm also going to do the white board guest book idea but with a framed chalk board where you write a message to the bride and groom and you have someone taking pictures of everyone with their message. So I'm going to have a table full of fun interesting things to do for memories sake. Let me know what you girls think!

It's always nice when you have time off to focus, whenever FI is around I get so distracted, LOL!

ALSO, OMG, I'm so excited, I'm finally getting my OOT bags, bridal party beach bags and matching groomsmen tote/messenger looking bags as well as items for inside of it.

I picked out and will be ordering the remaining pieces of FI's suit tonight as well from JCrew, have a 20% off coupon and a $25 off rewards card.

Getting a lot done today! Feels good :)

Hey girls! Good job you all for completing so many items.

AmyKH, wow I spent all day saturday hungover on the couch and you were like a task maniac! Congrats.

Lindz - your save the date bottles are AMAZING. I am totally jealous and I can't wait to hear what your girls say about them.

So I called the 2 hotels in Maryland for my AHR this week and I have a contract in for one of them. I also called the caterer and have him booked for July 24th. He is going to send me some sample menus and we'll start picking and choosing as we get closer to the date. I feel very relieved for following through on my to do list!

I also opened my very own PayPal account so I can buy the spa wraps I wanted for part of my bridesmaids gifts.

Lastly, my Dad is in Miami now until Thnxgiving, so I asked him to pick up a shirt for Mark for the wedding - one of those fancy Cuban shirts - in white. Mark bought a polo for himself already but I want him to be a little dressier.

AmyKH - Your guest book sounds AMAZING! I love the idea so much. I am also trying to do the whiteboard guestbook in mexico and chalkboard in Maryland. I was going to get a Polaroid camera for it - what are you using? Mark & I traveled the US after college together and took Polaroids (this was before digital cameras - haha) everywhere we went so I thought it would be a nice touch. I wonder if they still sell themhuh.gif!!! haha

Amy F - WOW! I love the gray dresses and pink shoes combo! I cannot wait to see your pix. I loved that combo in Lindz's bottle gifts too.

Have a good week girls!

Oh - and lastly - I am down 5.5 pounds :) I have 14.5 more to go!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
