My puppy is a yorkie/maltese (morkie). His name is Eli and I have another dog, Cody who's also a yorkie/maltese with some shih tzu in him too. I treat them like they're my human children, which makes them spoiled rotten!! If I never have children, I'll be completely content being a dog lady haha.

We're just getting the last of our invitations out (gotta love when you don't get addresses for people that you need to invite!) so while everyone has received the RSVP link in an email, they might not realize what it is just yet! Oops!

I put up a little quiz/poll on our website just to get people a bit involved and I'm glad that I did! So far it's the only evidence I have that our friends have started to check out the site! There are about five places that I've asked people to leave messages and comments so hopefully as we get closer, or as more people start booking etc. we will see more activity. I hope the same goes for you girls!

I also left a quiz and a poll on my website. I also have an RSVP link and a guestbook. Although there's only a few responses on each, at least I know people are looking :)

Shannon - your little boy is adorable!! I love His name and the future name! Perfect! What woman wouldn't love those names!

Tonya - I totally think they should have named their second milk! that would have been hilarious!

Meghan & Tonya - I haven't really done anything with my website, I just did one up quickly on the weddingbells website but I don't like it so I haven't even sent the link around to anyone. Yeah we've had 16 people out of 80 Invites look at the website so far. Some have RSVP'd but most haven't even looked at it. I gave a date of Nov. 1 to tentatively RSVP and my family and friends are nortorious for waiting until the last minute... BUT there is an early booking bonus for people that put down their deposit by Oct. 31st so that's why I'm sending out the reminders (I love how they came out). I'm debating weather I should remove the privacy setting from our website... I think it makes it complicated for people to view ithuh.gif But since there is a link to book their room on there I wasn't sure if I should? What do you guys think?

welcome veronica!! i know what you mean about it coming faster than you expected! we booked our date 14 months out and now we're more than half way there and it feels like this all just started yesterday!

i also saw your thing about the privacy setting... if it's just a link to book their room through a TA or something like that, i don't think it has to be private. of course, if there is information on there that you don't want anyone else to see or use, by all means, leave it. i don't think privacy settings will affect anyone's decision to come or not.. at least i hope not!

isn't it true that 2 dogs are easier than 1? we had our border collie first and she was a spaz.. as soon as we got the other one she calmed down and now they can entertain each other! mine are for sure my children... my FI has a daughter and i get protective of my dogs when she yells at them! i joke that since he has her, they are my biological children and i am perfectly fine with that!

I agree with this big time. My dog was a bit of a terror when she was a pup- she's a rescue dog with a bit of everything in her, mostly Rottweiller, Retriever and Husky from what we can tell. She's medium/big, about 65 pounds. Once we got our second dog (FI's pure bred St Bernard, he'd always wanted one) she got so much better. She was a lot less demanding, and she's not lonely anymore when we're at work. Only trouble is when they play around it's like World Wrestling championships in my living room, so needless to say any breakable items are up pretty high.
They're like my children too- love them both.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
