  2. Hi ladies!! can anyone email me the 2014 wedding planning pdf (the one that anel/ramon sends when you book your date)? I booked back in 2013 for my october 2014 wedding and i want to confirm that the menu choices haven't changed. I'm getting ready to get my invites/ rsvps designed and need to include thier meal choice. we're doing the eternity package/ menu if anyone has any info.. id appreciate it! PM me and I'll send you my email so you can forward it. thank you!!
  3. Hi ladies! Can any veterans give me a review on makeup at the spa? I've heard mixed reviews and I'm particular with my make up. I feel that I do my makeup pretty well and worry that these women won't have the skills to give me what I want. I wear makeup everyday and would rather do it myself if I feel I won't be happy with their results. Thank you!
  4. My TA just posted on Facebook that AMResorts won't be managing dreams Cancun or puerto Vallarta after April 2014. Does anyone have info on this?

  7. My TA just posted that AMResorts will no longer be managing dreams Cancun or puerto Vallarta after April 2014. Does anyone else have info on this?
  8. Can anyone tell me if the resort provides an AV system during the ceremony or is it the $150 to rent it during the ceremony?
  9. The company is Adventure Photos. Honestly I'm using them for something else, either a family photo shoot or having them photograph my welcome cocktail hour. It depends on how important photography is to you. It's one of my top priorities so I hired a photog here and I'm flying her down with me. I just have to pay her travel fees and she and her husband do 8 hours shooting. It's MUCH cheaper than hiring a photog down there. If you plan on hiring a photog in Mexico I suggest Juan Navarro. He did my friends wedding at dreams and did an amazing job. He's a little out of my budget. My photographer I'm bring is meettheburks.com Good luck!
  10. The paper lantern set up is $1,000 no that's not a typo. 3 zeros ladies. I wanted it too until I saw the fee. No way i could squeeze a grand out of my budget. You might be able to bring your own lanterns but you would need the resort to set up the poles/ strings etc
  11. I'm not extending the reception. Just can't justify the extra cost. I think we'll head to the disco. If you have a big enough party you can make it you're own party in there anyway. My friend got married at dreams and we went to their disco and had a blast! If you have a fun group you'll have fun anywhere.
  12. I'm planning on getting flowers from a local florist lucy_cancun@hotmail.com I'm getting 4 smaller centerpieces (I want them low to the table so people can see each other etc) and 3 white bridesmaids bouquets and they're being delivered all for $200!! I want to avoid bringing too much because of baggage fees plus I'd rather not have to stress about things the day of. Other brides have avoided the outside vendor fees by meeting her at the gate. Other brides have used her and her flowers are really beautiful! She's pretty good about communication although the translation gets confusing. I'm fluent in Spanish and English and her English emails are much more difficult to understand. I know the divine and eternity have one centerpiece that come with it. I plan on using that one in the center of my long table and then two from the local florist on each side. Good luck!
