I have problems maybe with a couple of vendors in that matter, however, I think it is something that helps to choose. Finally will work with the people you feel that is taking good care of you. One thing that really help was my wedding planner following closely in the vendor for me on the phone. I emailed everything to Gretel at the Villa del Arco, and she was always aware of my questions, and needs and called directly the vendors. So after all I did not deal with them too much. She did a great job in that area, too.

I also had a Symbolic ceremony last december 1st. It was awesome, very romantic and the vows we exchaged were as real as in a legal ceremony. My minister was Marcho Arechiga, and he did a great job putting together a special ceremony for us. No one could tell the difference.

Hello Rosario!!! I am getting Married in Villa del Arco too. My wedding is in 21 days... I am sooooooo exited. I love Gretel and Mina. They have done all the process so flawless!! The hotel is new, it has been open 3 years. Also, since they have three properties as you can see, your guests have the option of staying in the one that they like best, and accomodates their budget. In my case, some members of my family are staying the whole week and since all the rooms have kitchenet they will be able to save money... I can't wait to be there!!!

HI, One thing to consider between PV and Cabo is the weather. PV is more humid and rains more often than in Cabo. You need to check according to the month you want to get married. Cabo has a more constant weather, except for august and september, the rain is very unlikely. Other than that, both are beautiful places. My WC works for both places, maybe she can help you. Well I made some research my self in my visit to Villa del Arco to start with my planning. My WC told couple terrible stories of shipping items. For example, previous bride sent the sand for the ceremony, shells, a printer, etc. She ended up paying like 300 USD taxes, and they took out the sand, because nothing dusty is legal to be ship. Other bride lost her whole package because she send things that were considered medicine and needed special import permissions: chapsticks, antibactirial gel, sunblock. So the advice is to brind everything in the plane. She also advised me to spread the favors and decoration among my closest guests, like my parents , etc. to avoid the extra bag fee. Hope it helps!! I'll tell you in three weeks how it goes.

I think La Fonda might fit your needs... they have authentic Mexican food, and very affordable prices. They have enough space to allocate the 30-40 guests you have.

Hello: I think there is no rule about tipping, this are my ideas, hoe they help you. I think that the photographer and florist have already consider all their services in the price, since normally it is their own business. the Wait staff, depending on how good the service is, it is acostume in Los Cabos to tip them form 15% and up. I don't know Dreams, but some places already include gratuities in the Wedding payment. However, servers practically live from tips, so if you want to thank them, tip them a little more than usual. The WC, and think It'll depend on how everything turns out. What does your heart tell you?

Hi again Megan: I received some pictures when I starting looking for places and have the same concern, and what a local photographer explained to me, was the sun light is fundamental for the water color, specially in the pics. Cabo is beautiful, but It will all depend on the person who takes the pics to get the best of every shot.

They have three resort with different options of rooms and prices. I wanted to be sure that my family and friends have plenty of choices for that. From the full kitchen villas for my old-fashioned mexican aunts, who love to cook and hate to eat in restaurants; to the small suites for my couple friends. 3. The town location. The resort is just five minutes from the famous Squid Roe, and Cabo Wabo. We wouldn't want to miss that at all. 4. Finally, My wedding planner. It is crazy, but It just felt right. Gretel is som funny, and so many ideas... I saw a wedding when I went to visit the resort, and it was beautiful, and she was crying, like if she was the bride's best friend.
